Clowning Around? Haven't thought of that one in a minute. And Black Rock? Boy does that bring back memories of high school drama classes 😄 Thanks for showing off (part of) your collection 🙂
I have always had different collections and have in the past gone overboard with some. By 2010 I had 2000 DVD's. I had to cut back on them considerably but still have quite a lot. The Matrix was my first DVD and bought a region free player to play the region 1 disc. It was £200 with Hellraiser, Shawshank Redemption and Brassed Off, a strange selection of titles. I have several hundred blu rays. Not got into 4K yet and probably won't. I ended getting rid of my VHS but did keep some. My vinyl collection is really important to me as I have added to it for 37 years..
I love physical media, we own around 200 blu rays and 4K special editions and also DVDs there's something about holding the physical copy and surfing threw the special features
Love the idea of this, please do more! I am an avid physical collector for movies and video games and I love to see someone showcasing that stuff. Also, I spy the BTAS collection on the shelf there, I have the same one and I think the audience would really appreciate seeing that!
I only buy physical media! I also keep my collection alphabetical and by format. Only difference is that I have my numeric titles arranged by the number, not what the first number is 🙂 Anyway, keep up the great work and can’t wait to see the rest!!!!
Haha yeah to me it’s like the alphabet 1 is before 2 A is before B I’d never put Basketball Diaries before Aladdin. But yeah! Love how many systems are possible
Coy, this is truly a great idea... I am a big proprietor of the physical version as well. I respect your Alphabetical Order way of organizing, mine is subject to a mishmash of Actor, Director, Series, and Genre. I don't currently have them displayed properly as my collection grows and the space shrinks, I had to begin tubbing them into the closet and refresh them into rotation a few times a year. I look forward to seeing what you choose to own, vs what I have. Keep it going dude!
Always interesting to see how others arrange things. While I also start with numbers, like you, I lump franchises together by release order because sequels getting divided bugs me. If they have a collective name, I go with that. Otherwise, I'll go off the first. So I have stuff like Dark Knight Trilogy under 'D', MCU under 'M', Middle-Earth (Hobbits/LotR) under 'M', all the X-men under 'X', including the Deadpool films.
If you're going to ever rewatch the first Avatar I suggest you watch the Extended Cut. It adds more lore and fleshes out the story a little bit better. It's on that Blu-ray
So glad to see another fan of Alpha Dog. I own the DVD and have always highly recommended it. Also, if you love Mary Elizabeth Mastrantonio in The Abyss, I could easily suggest Scarface, but prefer The Color of Money and The January Man as possibly the other best films she appears in. Also she has a small role in The Punisher series with Jon Bernthal.
Loved this Coy! I used to have a bunch of VHS tapes myself growing up (I'm only 26 rn) because I inherited all of my Grandma's tapes and I had started a pretty good dvd collection too but unfortunately I lost them all to being in a storage unit 😢 I really started my new current Blu Ray/4k collection back in like 2018/2019, buying a couple movies like every payday to bolster it up back then haha I got quite a lot now but it kills me that these stores are backing out of the physical movies business so much......I would be so excited for Black Friday to go in and try to find as much as possible, especially in Best Buy!!..... ....this year I only got just four random movies online 😢....Godzilla x Kong New Empire and Ghostbusters Fozen Empire on Walmart and then Gladiator and John Wick 4 on Amazon (also finally just bought the Jim Carrey Grinch on 4k on Amazon, but I don’t think it was on sale) Funny thing that happened to me too! I was looking through my collection and was like oh sh*t! I had never got John Wick 4 yet! When I saw just the other 3 sitting there haha
I love collecting physical media!!! I got loads I’m really into steelbooks right now and getting both Deadpool and wolverine steelbook. I’m more 4K than blu ray when come to movies but tv shows I get blu ray I got the Doctor who new series steelbook and it’s beautiful
What a digital masterpiece!!! A Digital Marvel A Digital Mona Lisa So much DVD, So much Movies, So Much Memories The next one, and Top one will be your wedding video
I don't trust streaming services. All the folks got rid of their physical media probably feel crappy any moment it will never be on streaming again until they say so. I like Blu ray because bonus features & making of films & sometimes short films. I enjoyed this. Hope I have shelf full of these like Coy.
Also, studios will sometimes lose the rights to the original score and have to replace the songs when streaming. Don’t have to worry about that with the physical media! (A good example is the show Scrubs)
Thanks Coy, great video Have a few of the movies you showed here. Also see some in the back that also have or would like to get. Dont have a massive collection but many Animated movies, some marvel, almost all spiderman and both spiderverse, both paddingtons, most star wars with mando and andor, a few rom com types, about a dozen international movies. got a few more movies recently from sales. looking forward to seeing the rest of your collection.
This is a cool and we haven’t even put a dent into the collection. I made the mistake of going digital 5 years back but I’m righting my wrongs so to speak 😂
Any chance we could see some hip-hop discussion vids on your channel in the future? Would love to hear your thoughts on certain related topics or maybe some reactions to releases, look at your music collection if you own any records or anything cool. Just a thought!
Little bit of vhs trivia for ya. Little miss sunshine was the last movie that Hollywood video rented out. Not sure if it was the last movie to be released on vhs or not. But yea.
Absolutely please continue. Not only do we get brief reviews, we get to see your collection and share our love for physical media. I’m more a sort by category and film franchise than alphabetical, have my comedy, marvel, SC, western, horror, etc sections on my shelves
I still like buying physical media. I like being able to watch certain movies whenever I can, because some streaming sites won't always have that movie you're wanting to watch. I also like watching the behind the scenes features. Looking forward to seeing the rest of your collection
I wish marvel studios would release all the movies and shows that are on Disney+ on DVD !!! The last marvel studios DVD release in Australia was guardians of the galaxy volume 3 Sony are even doing better in that department they have DVDs Marvel what the heck
This is making me miss my physical media collection so much. Guess it's time to rebuild! That Alien Romulus VHS/DVD get is so nice, and agree that it just feels like a more classic 80/90's movie and it's so good, one of my fav films this year
A great video this was. I love physical media too! Like you say, they’re forever ours. You should do a second episode. Your collections and how you sorted them out is 👌 💯 ❤
This thanksgiving I am thankful for Coy Jandreau's blu-ray collection video. I too am a proponent of physical media. I like caressing my hand along the curves of the sides, dipping my fingers in the creases, and getting a whiff of that yummy, dirty, yet clean, plasticy odor sneaking up my nostrils as I open her up.. mmm. Let's watch Whiplash.
An awesome collection. So many films to dive into. Seeing Alien: Romulus having a vhs was a fun sight to see. It is unreal how many fillms, the MCU has been able to harness. But so many excellent stories & characters.
50/50 is one of those movies that’s rarely top-of-mind, but every time it comes up, I’m reminded how much I love it.
Clowning Around? Haven't thought of that one in a minute. And Black Rock? Boy does that bring back memories of high school drama classes 😄 Thanks for showing off (part of) your collection 🙂
Really cool seeing you breakdown your collection!
Loved this! Would love to see part 2!

Great video Coy. As a fan of physical media, it's sad that they are barely available at stores.
Love pysical media very much!
Coy i have to say that was awesome but you gotta keep the physical media train going. Hopefully you can do more parts to this when you have time.
I love physical media, we own around 200 blu rays and 4K special editions and also DVDs there's something about holding the physical copy and surfing threw the special features
Please continue!
That vhs of romulus is amazing! 👏🏽
Just a comment to say you rock Coy 👊
Love the idea of this, please do more! I am an avid physical collector for movies and video games and I love to see someone showcasing that stuff. Also, I spy the BTAS collection on the shelf there, I have the same one and I think the audience would really appreciate seeing that!
i wanna see your vinyl collection!!!
I only buy physical media!

Anyway, keep up the great work and can’t wait to see the rest!!!!
I loved this, Coy! Thanks for sharing.
And fascinated that you don’t order them numerically and do “1s before 2s” instead (127 before 21)!
Haha yeah to me it’s like the alphabet
1 is before 2
A is before B
I’d never put Basketball Diaries before Aladdin.
But yeah! Love how many systems are possible

love it. i got a 4k bluray collection. once you go 4k it is hard to go back.

PART 2 NEEDED!!!!!!!!
Hoping this does well! Likely a 20 ish part series for all them letters
@@CoyJandreau Sweet! Excited for it
We’re about the same age so I really enjoy hearing you talk about movies and how/when they impacted you
All hail physical media!
American Animals is one for the A’s you should check out, it was my intro to your boy Barry Keoghan.
I have been low key hoping you'd do another blu-ray collection video for years now. Glad you're doing it now
If you're going to ever rewatch the first Avatar I suggest you watch the Extended Cut. It adds more lore and fleshes out the story a little bit better. It's on that Blu-ray
physical media representation is important. thank you for this, great collection!
i love physical media videos! ty, coy!
Nice idea for something different but still movies
So glad to see another fan of Alpha Dog. I own the DVD and have always highly recommended it. Funny thing that happened to me too! I was looking through my collection and was like oh sh*t! I had never got John Wick 4 yet! When I saw just the other 3 sitting there haha
I'm waiting for the VHS rip to come out.
Mic sounds way better than on your comic book stream. Not sure what you changed but this setup looks and sounds awesome and it's great content!
Damn, quite a collection. Sigh, my physical collections is deeply lacking 😞
No time like the present!
I love collecting physical media!!! I got loads I’m really into steelbooks right now and getting both Deadpool and wolverine steelbook. I’m more 4K than blu ray when come to movies but tv shows I get blu ray I got the Doctor who new series steelbook and it’s beautiful
I was thinking of getting some this weekend but had to stop myself lmao. Don’t wanna start hoarding stuff in my house man lolll
What a digital masterpiece!!!
A Digital Marvel
A Digital Mona Lisa
So much DVD, So much Movies, So Much Memories
The next one, and Top one will be your wedding video
Thank you!
I am curious to know what you will think about the Extended version of The Abyss. I feel it improves on the theatrical version
The Criterion Collection is up in arms about the absence of Apocalypse Now Redux
I don't trust streaming services. All the folks got rid of their physical media probably feel crappy any moment it will never be on streaming again until they say so. Keep it Physical!
Coy, I love physical media, and I love that you did this!!!
Thank you!!! 🤘
This is a cool and we haven’t even put a dent into the collection. I made the mistake of going digital 5 years back but I’m righting my wrongs so to speak 😂
Haha yeah it’s likely a 20 part series if people dig it
RIGHT THOSE WRONGS

What is your shelving system?
Love from Belgium 🇧🇪 ❤
Love back!
Please physical comics! Sharing the old silver age art and your stories behind each issue got me into physical comics
The Abyss actress's name is Mary Elizabeth Mastrantonio and she also played Tony Montana's sister.
Oh shit! Had no idea she was that role too! Truly sensational work. Thanks!!
The VHS cassette is awesome!
Just realized my PS5 can play 4k. Time to buy all the pretty Steelbooks
You need to watch the director's cut of The Abyss. It's way better than the theatrical version.
Cool
Physical media on top!
Nice collection. Look forward to future videos. I just bought Blu Ray sets for Lord Of The Rings (extended versions) and the Hellraiser films.
Did you say Frye or is that FYE aka For Your Entertainment?
Now I’m playing a game in my own mind to alphabetically name a movie 😂.
Haha how I realized I didn’t have Endgame
I wish marvel studios would release all the movies and shows that are on Disney+ on DVD !!!
The last marvel studios DVD release in Australia was guardians of the galaxy volume 3
Sony are even doing better in that department they have DVDs
Marvel what the heck
Definitely picking up Alien Romulus to the collection 👍
Anton yelchin :(

As a fellow Blu-ray collector that can’t seem to find time to rewatch movies, why do we continue collecting these?
So when we do have time, we know it’s ours to enjoy
I still have my videos of Robotech I recorded on Beta. 😂😂😂
Cheaaaa!!!
A great video this was. I love physical media too! Like you say, they’re forever ours. You should do a second episode. Your collections and how you sorted them out is 👌 💯 ❤
Great video Coy! Loved seeing this and would Love to see the rest and then after that your comics collection!
Yes, please keep going.
That VHS of Alien : Romulus looks amazing!
You’re missing the phase 4 and phase 5 mcu movies and Endgame
Example
Ant-Man and the Wasp Quantumania
Do you also own Captain Marvel
Accurate! Knew I had holes In phase 4/5 surprised I did with phase 3 (endgame)
No capt marvel for me, wasn’t my cuppa
@ okay

I have no way to navigate this except to say. FUCK YEAH WHIPLASH
An awesome collection. So many films to dive into. Seeing Alien: Romulus having a vhs was a fun sight to see.
It is unreal how many fillms, the MCU has been able to harness. But so many excellent stories & characters.
this is legit just an ad for disney...
This guy does “first time watching” reaction videos 😓
This guy takes the time out of his list to post weird comments on RUclips videos 🤣
@ hit a soft spot eh or else you wouldn’t have bothered. People eat it up so don’t worry your click bait videos will still work 😂😉
Yea physical media is dead
Yeah bro, totally
You only have Hollywood bs.
Bro where are the Vinegar Syndrome, Severin or Arrow titles?
It’s all generic studio crap
K
@ lol typical douchebag response 😂
Keep doing these vids. Z will probably be a really short video tho lol
Great collection but lots of blu rays that need to be upgraded to 4k still. Shameful 😂😂😂🤡🤡🤡🤦♂️🤦♂️🤦♂️
