A rock solid drummer who can sing better than most lead singers, a top flight grunge riff guitar slinger, a bass player with more groove than a railway wheel, and a lead singer who is both humble and awesome in equal measure. Then add Pixies quality songs and rare chemistry. Wolf Alice.

Dude, I know I'm replying to a 2 year old comment but that was an awesome description.
In those two years they've developed a larger following and have dropped some of the grunge aesthetic they had in 2015 and picked up a stronger techno. Ellie had a moment when she must have had some voice lessons and held tune better. Ellie's songs reach an audience, young women, not usually reached through grunge. My 10 cents, they should try to balance the band they had here with concert production values, AKA mid career Pearl Jam. If they can do that they'll have a good run.

Wolf Alice helped save 2015 and 2016 for me. That may read like an innocuous comment, but those years were really difficult for me, and I am so grateful (to God; yes) that I found some inspiration. Also very appreciative that "My Love is
Cool" contains numerous Biblical and spiritual references. For that and so very much more (amazing songwriting, Ellie's otherworldly vocals, and the band's inspired support), "My Love is Cool" is one of the greatest albums of all time.
Now here is a girl who is stunningly gorgeous and yet she does not flaunt it - what a refreshing thing! May her tribe increase. And may this band stay together always because they are just tight as hell!
+mrwhitford1966 you said it. there are many wonderful four piece bands with a front woman. speedy ortiz, charly bliss and bully along with wolf alice are my favorites and you will see that these women dress really cool and artistic. well, alicia from bully is actually more like a tom boy but none of them are dressing like.....well, you know.

Thanks for posting this. . . incredible! Ellie's voice is one hell of a weapon. There are times when it even sounds like a guitar lead! When combined with Joel's excellent vocals it takes this band to a whole other level. Add in some impressive guitar work from Joff, plus Theo's solid bottom end and you've got one of the best rock bands in the world today, period. :-)

This is good. Took me too long to find this band but worth it. Or rather the algorithm found me finally. This proves not all new music has to be autotuned crap.

watching them since the early days a year or more ago now , she is realy great over coming her shyness now , more live shows they are all very , very talented , sogood at such a young age , i hope they keep growing , trying things they want to do and aren't molded into what they don't want to do , great fresh , love the sweet to hard transitions, she rocks----------------------
'Early days' was 2010.
Having just discovered this band, I have to say that I far prefer these live performances to the studio tracks. There is so much more energy! Ellie's voice is stronger and all the instruments have way more rawness and energy. Their producer should take note and capture more of this for studio tracks.
I just discovered this band a couple months ago and came to the same conclusion. The live versions of their songs really outshine the album versions. Much higher energy, heavier, and the albums versions don't do Ellie's voice justice. Some bands are just much better live and Wolf Alice is one of them.
I'd like something like the "Pool sessions" stuff on an album.

Agree completely! After I discovered them, I was quick to search their recordings on Apple Music only to return to You Tube for their live performances. Their studio recordings don't come close to their live concerts. We need a greatest hits live album!

This is the first time I have ever posted anything on you tube, this band is excellent with an amazing singer with a very good drummer and guitarist, nice to see that they don't have to swear too much in there songs, which means I can listen to in front of my daughter which makes a change.
They just keep getting better.

This is by far my favorite Wolf Alice live performance; the mix is outstanding. On a lot of their stuff, the band is a little too loud over Ellie's vocals. Here she is loud and clear.
