As someone who tries to daily his V4R, I wholeheartedly agree with Brandon's assessment. I make a lot of sacrifices to enjoy hopping on this bike, and it's nearly always worth it. I'll add: vibrations from the V4 make visibility from the mirrors even worse. Breaking the stock mirror stems (easy to do) means replacements, and the defacto Rizoma Stealths are very nearly unusable as mirrors. The heat is no joke: 1st degree burns on both calves w/ riding jeans, and leather.
Commuting generally means a nod to economy and comfort. I would bankrupt myself and destroy my body within a month or two on a Ducati Panigale V4R, but my 20 year old self would like to try😂
I have a Honda NC750X as a daily commuter. It is comfortable, VERY cheap and easy to run, has enough space for all the baggage or stuff I bought. For all the other stuff, I have Aprilia :)
And after watching all of these V4R praising videos I came to work today and there she was waiting for maintenance, with full Akra system, RACE EVO Map and open dry clutch. The engine is really something else even compared to "regular" V4S.
I daily a 1199 Panigale R, and I will say that if this V4R is anything like the old 1199R then it's NOT a friendly daily bike. They're setup to be raced on the track. Everything from the suspension, riding position, no storage at all, high heat, jumpy throttle, and aggressive gearing can make this bike not fun to street ride especially at low mph, but something about this bike makes it all worth it.
I have an RSV4 Factory and I have ridden it to work and out just for fun. However I cannot imagine this as my only bike. It is aggressive and like trying to tame a wild animal as I ride in traffic. I can ride to work and back (on the highway) and never leave first gear! Which is cool if you want a bike that seems almost like an automatic, but not so great if you actually want to ride a motorcycle. 👍😊
I've a Ducati XDiavel and the only time I feel the heat is when I'm sitting at a light and the heat from the termi pipes radiate upwards. Not sure it should be a daily, but I ride it to work once or twice a week depending on the weather in the DFW area. My bike definitely hates sitting idle.
Sure would, have a big back pack and already using either a Supersport 939 or a 2 valve Multistrada as a daily now, in 100+dgree weather, what's a little more heat.
I daily my v4 for almost 3 years only problem is for summer in vegas even in freeway is still hot and i bought ktm 390 i love it better in summer, winter for v4 summer 390
There’s a guy who works across the street from my job that daily the V4R, in NYC midtown manhattan. dry clutch, full akropovic titanium racing exhaust. I really want to talk to him and ask him why especially in NYC traffic. Way too much bike to commute
Would be fun to daily but for the average paying job most people have that I ride with, why? Get a fast cheap Gixxer, Kawasaki, Yamaha or Honda and still have money in your pocket. I agree Yam. that Triumph would be a better choice and still fun. If I had Daytona triple I would daily that and I’m 58. Also love that Kawasaki 400 but in all honesty, this hurts due to my bias for Japanese bikes there always been my choice but I would have to go with Chinas CF Moto 450 SS. Swing arm is not as nice as Kawasakis Lower sets could be better but for the price and comparison to the Nina 400 inverted shock, winglets you don’t need but look way cool display and all the mods you can do now that you saved money.
I love my sport bike... but it's not my primary bike by far. I can't wrap my head around even wanting to use a supersport as a daily. No storage, uncomfortable aggressive riding position, no wind protection, way more power than is required on the street. To each their own, but If I'm running errands, commuting, taking a trip, wanting to enjoy the scenery in the mountains... I'm taking a standard, a touring bike, a bagger, even a sport-touring machine... but in no way does a supersport check the boxes for a daily. I won't get rid of it, I still ride it quite a bit to wring out the speed demon, but... hard pass on it ever being the only bike in the garage. That goes for the Panigale and basically any supersport bike, including my GSX-R 750. I think of riding my GSX-R as a daily like using a screwdriver to drive nails. It's just not a do-it-all machine.
Of course you can daily ride and commute with any of these bikes. And you should even if the per-mile expense is quite high. Bikes are not like cars; you should spend quality time with your bike even if it's not performance riding. Now the big problem with some Panigales is how they infamously dump heat on the rider's left leg. That's just poor fairing design.
If you win this and don’t daily it you’re wasting your life and nothing can help you at this point. This bike isn’t to flex on your friends, or even your boss. This bike is a flex on the CEO of the company you work at. You park in CEO parking and your CEO is absolutely going to promote you. Don’t waste this beautiful machine in a garage or on a track where no one will see it. Ride it loud and proud everyday.
I daily my Triumph Street Triple. I don’t feel so guilty as it’s only $10k. I want to upgrade to an Aprilia RSV4 but I almost feel bad. But then I look at my coworkers with these really expensive Harley baggers and I don’t feel so bad. If you have money for the maintenance daily the Panigale. Why not?
If I win it, I'm dailying it just to make all you gatekeeping trackday bros cry. So tired of hearing the "you don't need a liter bike on the street" nonsense. It's not about "need". It's about "want". You don't "need" a motorcycle to begin with, so you might as well get one you want. End rant. Anyway, please pick me to win 😂😂
V4R daily bike... C'mon now, even if you don't get jailed on day 1, it's a super expensive bike, would you really leave it parked somewhere unattended?
I have a Panigale and with a backpack you can daily it. Just don’t daily it in stop and go because she roast them chestnuts for sure 🥜 🔥 and no it’s not comfortable. The riding position is very aggressive but hey it’s a sport bike, gets lots of looks, no she isn’t gonna pull chicks only dudes if that’s your thing. Lol Take all of that away and rip on it just once then it will be worth it!
My god!! a bike which you had recently said was "the best bike you've ever ridden". Talk about giving yourself a green light..... so, so cynical...you naughty boy you!!!
Dude here is talking about needing a bike to be able to get out of or arond traffic in 4th,5th, or 6th gear, like WTF kind traffic you in that you need that kind of speed LOL. 3rd gear is already triple digits.
4-5-6 gear....there u lost all credibility... Sry but that was such stu.. Yeah i want the the volvo not the ferrari to show off... One who buy this love this thing and is fine with all its limits, but the smiles on the streets are priceless So when u want something relaxed etc u ll never get a supersport anyway A and dont get it with the heat... U sitting on a ice ... What u expect freezing balls If its not u thing drive something else
I know you are giving one away, but,...how many vids are you gonna do on this Ducati? 6 Ducati vidies in 6 days is killing me... Move on. For the love of God, move on
Get yourself 5X entries to win this Ducati V4R! Time is running out! yammienoob.co
I daily my MV Agusta F3 even in the summer in Phoenix. Everyone can kiss my sore ass.
The problem I have daily-ing a panigale is constantly committing jail time speed’s just because I love the sound track
Nice lol
God don't I know it. I daily my V2 when its not too cold and icy (winter here) but I'm lucky that I finish work when the popo are on shift change.
I daily a v4s and can confirm this statement, currently have a pending court date 😅
😂😂😂 I just got a 24 v4r and it is very difficult not to take it over 10k rpm 😂😂😂
When commuting becomes a speedrun, you daily the Panigale
No tail tidy on that bike is criminal
Lol
This bike doesn't have a tail
Yes. Absolutely
I have the 2023 V4R and I totally agree. I bought a Triumph Bonneville T120 to do coffee shop runs on. The V4R will stay my canyon / track machine
That’s exactly my feeling about 2023 V4S. Canyons only.
@@demisx I had a 2022 V4S as well and totally agree. These bikes are just not meant to be commuters or casual cruising machines
As someone who tries to daily his V4R, I wholeheartedly agree with Brandon's assessment. I make a lot of sacrifices to enjoy hopping on this bike, and it's nearly always worth it. I'll add: vibrations from the V4 make visibility from the mirrors even worse. The heat is no joke: 1st degree burns on both calves w/ riding jeans, and leather.
Why is so much heat generated?
@@anasahmadzai6480the bike is supposed to go fast to mitigate heat, when youre in traffic the heat sits

You could daily anything .
Heat bro

My daily is a KTM Duke 790, and there are some compromises, but the feeling of having full knee on while in mid traffic, f****n A brother!
This channel is so obviously paid by big brands. Cmon Yami
Ayee wassup with them Tats Yammie!! Love it bro keep doing your sleeve
I love taking my 2023 V4R to the grocery store. 🎉
I'm gonna ignore all the cons and daily it anyway like its perfect😂

make video about liter bikes that can be driven daily, thanks
Sure would, have a big back pack and already using either a Supersport 939 or a 2 valve Multistrada as a daily now, in 100+dgree weather, what's a little more heat.
My Super Duke R is a great daily and trip machine.
Spoiler alert: You can daily whatever bike you own that functions. Natch.
I daily my 390 Duke. Still have to say it’s the best. Orange Mafia sounding off.
As long as it's not Hot outside and ya got a good backpack 👌 can't drive it too much gotta preserve it also
In Italy V4R dailies you
If you do, just make sure to put the chiropractor on speed dial... also mind where you park and $$$.
I daily my v4 for almost 3 years only problem is for summer in vegas even in freeway is still hot and i bought ktm 390 i love it better in summer, winter for v4 summer 390

Thanks for the video, please keep this category going. Can you please rate the Triumph speed triple 1200 RS
There are German guy in Thailand who rode Superleggera 1199 daily and long trip around the country for years so i think its not so hard to daily a V4R

You can daily "track" drive it.

I would try my ass off to daily this if I win lmao
Where would you park it ???
You don't ...... You ride it and put it away in your garage when you're done! 😂
Depends on the road condition
I want that bike soooooooo badly.
Hahahah, in Malaysia, I can guarantee the coversets will start cracking in 1 year due to the heat its been exposed to should its been used frequently
I don’t care about anything but heat, heat is the killer of joy in riding daily.
I would try
Anything to do about the heat ? This bike has been burning my legs
Ducati Spacers makes a really good heat shield
You forgot distance achieved on a tank of gas. I'm getting about a 1/2 mile before I am looking for my next gas stop.))) And I'm on an S.

How tall is this dude? "Ninja 400 is comfortable" seat is not comfortable. Weight is comfortable. knee bend being 6 2 is definitely not comfortable.
No way it is V4R built for the track

I be afraid to ride it, scratch it, let it sit outside by himself and gets stolen or bump or scratched too nice of a b to just ride around
I wish the shop and giveaways were Canadian friendly. We’re like right fucking here man
😂
Can? Yes.
Should? No.

Im so used to my zx10r that i find it comfortable. Im not a young man either.
Hey!! I live in Canada so I can daily it!!!! Woohoo!!😂😂😂
No, SV 650 is the perfect bike! :D
do a 97 speed triple
Why not give away the new V4R?
V4R daily bike... C'mon now, even if you don't get jailed on day 1, it's a super expensive bike, would you really leave it parked somewhere unattended?

I can BARELY behave on my ZX-6R... this Ducati would not only scare me half to death, but it would also land me in jail or the graveyard. Hard pass😂
I would but desmo service
My god!! a bike which you had recently said was "the best bike you've ever ridden". Talk about giving yourself a green light..... so, so cynical...you naughty boy you!!!

Prolly?
🤞🏾🤞🏾🤞🏾🤞🏾
I would
These bikes would sell better if they stopped giving a committed riding position, and kept everything else the same.
Adjustable rearsets help a lot.
Cant afford that..But it will seduced the owner for daily ride..❤
xadv for daily
give it to gixxxer brah for a ride please
Hueco
