I am so glad you mentioned Coconut Sun. I have tried other 7 Virtues scents and I was having trouble smelling some of those! Especially Vanilla Woods. I wanted so badly to like it, but just simply cannot tell that I sprayed anything! I thought something was wrong with me.

2023 is my first year wearing coconut fragrances. You couldn't have made me do it before now. At the moment I have a middle eastern perfume that I love and it has a strong coconut note. You're the first person to mention that prominent jasmine note in Terracotta. I only get the tiaré on paper and actually don't get any coconut at all. The coconut perfume I'm most looking forward to wearing this summer is In Love with the Cocos by the Dutch brand Fugazzi. As much as I love those typical beachy scents, I love that this takes coconut in a completely different direction.

Happy Sunday! My favorite coconut is definitely Arizona bloom. I live in a tropical climate and can confirm it lasts all day in the heat. I also love Juliette has a gun Sunny side up. In fact, I layer Arizona bloom and sunny side up. They are amazing together. It's my favorite combo. It's salt and pepper, coconut milk, coconut husk, sandalwood, iso e super. It's amazing. Great coconut collection! Laura Mercier Almond Coconut, with the cream is so good! Bronze Goddess is a perfect summer perfume, I’ll have to try the Eau Fraiche version. Tom Ford Soleige Blanc is one of my favorites, fresh,sweet with a coconut dry down. 🥥🌴🍸🥰
I have almond coconut is really nice! My absolutely favorite coconut fragrance is coconut Nana’s! Terracotta is nice but it doesn’t last on me! I have VIW but I have tried Malibu. Leisure in paradise is one of my summer fragrances!

The best coconut fragrance is oddly enough, one with only a GHOST note of toasted coconut (ie; it's not listed but unmistakable to the nose): Rivalite Imperiale by Plum Impression. Fantastic spring and summer fragrance.
Of course I want the special edition gritti one haha. I have a kayali sampler set and utopia coco surprises me its one that is growing on me I thought I would hate it. If it smells like sunscreen I don't want it so I can be picky! The Kyse one sounds so yummy!
I need to know what blush you're wearing! It's stunning 😍 ✨️ I just recieved my Ylang in Gold with no Gold shimmer from M.Micallef (they will make you a bottle upon request with no gold shimmer!) And I've found a layering combo that makes it more fresh and less overly sweet.. Riddle Original Milky Lotion(pheremone oil) and Ylang in Gold. It's heavenly for hot summer days and more wearable IMHO 😊😊😊 I also blind bought Eden Falls and upon request, M.Micallef sent me 6 sample decants and I really do like their unisex/male fragrences for myself over the feminine. (They are very natural and aromatic vs screechy synthetic men's cologne)Eden Falls, GnTonic, and Desire Toxic. I'm pleasantly surprised by this house!

Try layering terra cotta one with another coconut perfume or body lotion that has coconut scents. I tend to do that with some of the 😂heavy vanilla scents or highly masculine scents like St Laurent one fogot the name. I tend to layer my fragrance with sweet orange or orange oil body lotions so some of the sweet citrus comes through.
Lol! Everyone thinks I smell delicious except my mom who 30 years ago got drunk on a pina colada and can’t handle coconut. This is a woman who doesn’t drink. 😂

You have such a wide selection of coconut fragrances😍😍. I’m quite finicky when it comes to coconut, anything too sun tan lotion does not work for me 🤦🏽♀️🤦🏽♀️. I decluttered Holidays precisely because of that🤦🏽♀️🤦🏽♀️ but I enjoy my travel spray of Soleil Blanc😍😍. I love Malibu, Leisure In Paradise and Arizona Bloom and will get a full bottle of the latter since I finished my travel spray😍😍. My other favourite is a green coconut, Cocobello by Heeley😍😍. Gossip Night same description , Because I'm Free is a sweeter , denser fragrances but some florals come through that are a little stronger, I still really don't care for tuberose which is in BIF , I really enjoy them from the samples and having a hard time choosing but 💲💲💲⬅ this is always a consideration lol I really need Dulce Diablo added , was in with the Gritti samples

I love coconut frags, but two that I never mention are by Sunday Forever: Coconuts, and Eau de Babe (they’re strong and long lasting on me, and a little goes a long way in the heat). So sad Sol de Janeiro is discontinuing 39. 😢 First world problems but it was a beautiful scent and if you like that scent profile and can get your hands on it I’d do it now. Lovely list, as always-excited to try a bunch of these!! ❤

As much as I love gourmands I just don’t care for coconut. I think it’s because so many of them have gone plastic on me. That being said I don’t mind Bronze Goddess and it’s flankers.
I wear Bronze Goddess eau fraiche and Terracotta every summer! I didn't even realize they were considered to have coconut. I will have to get my nose to identify coconut because I don't think I notice it unless it's obvious. I often don't like that note as it tends to smell rancid or off to me or even synthetic in many instances. My lime and coconut perfume that smells like Virgin Island Water is Alexandria's Hawaii Volcano. Now that's coconut I do love. oxJulia

I have a small decant of Virgin Island Water ❤ and my husband, who is not a fragrance person, had a whiff of it and LOVES it 😳 (expensive 😱), so here I am trying to find it at a discount for Father’s Day (in Canada where our dollar is 👎🏼). I heard Tommy Bahama St Bart’s is a close dupe … will try. The two coconut fragrances I have are the Kayali one you mentioned, and the gorgeous and oh so bougie TF Soleil Blanc. ❤❤❤
I have heard the same about the Tommy Bahama but haven’t personally tried it or bought it seeing I think Malibu Party In The Bay is pretty darn close (85-90% similar). But let me know if you get it. I know it’s dirt cheap

Omg yes!! BR540 is a lifer for me and I feel like I talk about too much do whew good to know I don’t! I have the ultimate layering combo; BR540 plus Lost Cherry or anything similar to Lost Cherry.
Love this video. Coconut fragrances are delicious and I really want to get more. I currently love Of the Immortals by Zaharoff but that is almost too heavy in the heat of summer. I also got myself Coconut Sun and love it. Shame you can’t smell it. Plume Impressions Rivalité Impériale also has a strong coconut vibe for me even though there is no coconut note listed. Strange, no? I am also in love with Malibu and want to get more Simone Andreoli fragrances. But there are so many and I can’t possibly get all of them. Love coconut scents! I have some of these but definitely need to check out some others you mentioned. I think my fav that I have in my collection right now is disumano by morph. It’s great on it’s own but great for layering with other scents too. I saw you have mom ami, I’ve been so curious about that fragrance. Thinking of blind buying it 😇 Does it perform well for you and also does it remind you of anything? Some people on fragrantica rated it smelling similar to Santal blanc by Van Cleef & Arpels.

I have a lot of European subscribers that will have access to sampling in stores, etc. santal Blanc is similar…..more lactonic, fig is different. Mon Ami has more coconut and amber. I did a side by side wear last year and need to do it again….to refresh my memory. 🥰🥰
Soleil Blanc, by far! I just love it so much! 🤍 I’m picky about coconut, but when I find one I love, it’s one of my favorite notes. Going to order some samples of these. Great video! 🤍🥥
I’m not really a fan of the coconut note although I grew up in the tropics. I don’t know why that is. Perhaps it’s because my personal experiences in the beach are more of the coconut water and watery juicy fruits like the watermelon kind, less of the suntan lotion ones that most of the coconut based versions have. I personally prefer light florals or the citrus ones that I associate with European vacations. ☺️ I’m watching still so I know what’s out there and to maybe have a sense of what would likely be not my preference if they are too coconut-forward. This is the second time I’ve seen Leisure in Paradise mentioned in vacation themed perfume lists, and it’s got me curious. P.S. I thought I heard Baccarat Rouge 541 at 23:57 and I thought, wait, is that right or the dupe’s name? 😂

I like to eat coconut, but I am not big on coco in fragrances. My only coconut fragrances are Prodigieux Le Parfum Nuxe, Terracotta and The only one intense.
Hey Chris, I enjoyed this video as I love coconut. However, I only love a very specific coconut, one that does not have dominant flowers like the Kayali one or the one from Mancere, Coco Vanille. I like mine like Coco Cabana or Cheirosa '39. Do you know if this one is discontinued? Because I can't find it anywhere anymore. I surely hope they did not replace it with the Rio Radiance which I'm not crazy about. Please let me know if you do.
I just looked into it. Apparently it was just recently discontinued! I cannot imagine what you they were thinking! I literally bought my set within the past two months!!! And I’m not thrilled by Rio Radiance either.

Great topic. I'm always on the prowl for my next coconut. I love Cocco a la Vaniglia. I have two 60 ml bottles, one is for next year. I found out that with Kyse, especially CAV, they truly get so rich if you can manage to leave them alone for as long as possible. The bottle I'm using now (a year old) has darkened up and is so much richer than it was when I 1st got it. I also love Lavanila Vanilla Coconut, Ganache Parfums Coconut Milk and Ganache Coconut Sorbet Intense. My best find though is Gardenia Colada from For The Scent Of It, an Etsy brand. I can't say enough good things about that frag as well as the other frags I've gotten from that house. GC is not a typical beachy, sunscreen-y or tropical drink type scent. It veers more in the direction of Crystal Noir EDP, pre-reformulation. It's that type of Coconut but so much better!! I also like Yosh Ginger Ciao, I'm pretty sure there's Coconut in it. It's a good one. Thanks for some new ideas!! Appreciate the video!

You're the first person to mention that prominent jasmine note in Terracotta. I only get the tiaré on paper and actually don't get any coconut at all. The coconut perfume I'm most looking forward to wearing this summer is In Love with the Cocos by the Dutch brand Fugazzi. As much as I love those typical beachy scents, I love that this takes coconut in a completely different direction.

Happy Sunday! My favorite coconut is definitely Arizona bloom. I live in a tropical climate and can confirm it lasts all day in the heat. I also love Juliette has a gun Sunny side up. In fact, I layer Arizona bloom and sunny side up. They are amazing together. It's my favorite combo. It's salt and pepper, coconut milk, coconut husk, sandalwood, iso e super. It's amazing. It will last a good 10 hrs on me. Can't wait to see your heat proof fragrance video! Have a great day!

Great coconut collection! Laura Mercier Almond Coconut, with the cream is so good! Bronze Goddess is a perfect summer perfume, I’ll have to try the Eau Fraiche version. Tom Ford Soleige Blanc is one of my favorites, fresh,sweet with a coconut dry down. 🥥🌴🍸🥰

The best coconut fragrance is oddly enough, one with only a GHOST note of toasted coconut (ie; it's not listed but unmistakable to the nose): Rivalite Imperiale by Plum Impression. Fantastic spring and summer fragrance.

I need to know what blush you're wearing! It's stunning 😍 ✨️ I just recieved my Ylang in Gold with no Gold shimmer from M.Micallef (they will make you a bottle upon request with no gold shimmer!) And I've found a layering combo that makes it more fresh and less overly sweet.. Riddle Original Milky Lotion(pheremone oil) and Ylang in Gold. It's heavenly for hot summer days and more wearable IMHO 😊😊😊 I also blind bought Eden Falls and upon request, M.Micallef sent me 6 sample decants and I really do like their unisex/male fragrences for myself over the feminine. (They are very natural and aromatic vs screechy synthetic men's cologne)Eden Falls, GnTonic, and Desire Toxic. I'm pleasantly surprised by this house!

Try layering terra cotta one with another coconut perfume or body lotion that has coconut scents. I tend to do that with some of the 😂heavy vanilla scents or highly masculine scents like St Laurent one fogot the name. I tend to layer my fragrance with sweet orange or orange oil body lotions so some of the sweet citrus comes through.

Gossip Night same description , Because I'm Free is a sweeter , denser fragrances but some florals come through that are a little stronger, I still really don't care for tuberose which is in BIF , I really enjoy them from the samples and having a hard time choosing but 💲💲💲⬅ this is always a consideration lol I really need Dulce Diablo added , was in with the Gritti samples

I love coconut frags, but two that I never mention are by Sunday Forever: Coconuts, and Eau de Babe (they’re strong and long lasting on me, and a little goes a long way in the heat). So sad Sol de Janeiro is discontinuing 39. 😢 First world problems but it was a beautiful scent and if you like that scent profile and can get your hands on it I’d do it now. Lovely list, as always-excited to try a bunch of these!! ❤

I wear Bronze Goddess eau fraiche and Terracotta every summer! I didn't even realize they were considered to have coconut. I will have to get my nose to identify coconut because I don't think I notice it unless it's obvious. I often don't like that note as it tends to smell rancid or off to me or even synthetic in many instances. My lime and coconut perfume that smells like Virgin Island Water is Alexandria's Hawaii Volcano. Now that's coconut I do love. oxJulia

I have a small decant of Virgin Island Water ❤ and my husband, who is not a fragrance person, had a whiff of it and LOVES it 😳 (expensive 😱), so here I am trying to find it at a discount for Father’s Day (in Canada where our dollar is 👎🏼). I heard Tommy Bahama St Bart’s is a close dupe … will try. The two coconut fragrances I have are the Kayali one you mentioned, and the gorgeous and oh so bougie TF Soleil Blanc. ❤❤❤
I have heard the same about the Tommy Bahama but haven’t personally tried it or bought it seeing I think Malibu Party In The Bay is pretty darn close (85-90% similar). But let me know if you get it. I know it’s dirt cheap

Love this video. Coconut fragrances are delicious and I really want to get more. I currently love Of the Immortals by Zaharoff but that is almost too heavy in the heat of summer. I also got myself Coconut Sun and love it. Shame you can’t smell it. Plume Impressions Rivalité Impériale also has a strong coconut vibe for me even though there is no coconut note listed. Strange, no? I am also in love with Malibu and want to get more Simone Andreoli fragrances. But there are so many and I can’t possibly get all of them. What are your faves from SA apart from Malibu and Leisure?

Love coconut scents! I have some of these but definitely need to check out some others you mentioned. I think my fav that I have in my collection right now is disumano by morph. It’s great on it’s own but great for layering with other scents too. I saw you have mom ami, I’ve been so curious about that fragrance. Thinking of blind buying it 😇 Does it perform well for you and also does it remind you of anything? Some people on fragrantica rated it smelling similar to Santal blanc by Van Cleef & Arpels.

I have a lot of European subscribers that will have access to sampling in stores, etc. santal Blanc is similar…..more lactonic, fig is different. Mon Ami has more coconut and amber. I did a side by side wear last year and need to do it again….to refresh my memory. 🥰🥰

I’m not really a fan of the coconut note although I grew up in the tropics. I don’t know why that is. Perhaps it’s because my personal experiences in the beach are more of the coconut water and watery juicy fruits like the watermelon kind, less of the suntan lotion ones that most of the coconut based versions have. I personally prefer light florals or the citrus ones that I associate with European vacations. ☺️ I’m watching still so I know what’s out there and to maybe have a sense of what would likely be not my preference if they are too coconut-forward. This is the second time I’ve seen Leisure in Paradise mentioned in vacation themed perfume lists, and it’s got me curious.
P.S. I thought I heard Baccarat Rouge 541 at 23:57 and I thought, wait, is that right or the dupe’s name? 😂
My son has commented once when wearing perfume. I was wearing BR540. The only other perfume he’s mentioned smelling good it Coco Alla Vaniglia…

Hey Chris, I enjoyed this video as I love coconut. However, I only love a very specific coconut, one that does not have dominant flowers like the Kayali one or the one from Mancere, Coco Vanille. I like mine like Coco Cabana or Cheirosa '39. Do you know if this one is discontinued? Because I can't find it anywhere anymore. I surely hope they did not replace it with the Rio Radiance which I'm not crazy about. Please let me know if you do.
I just looked into it. Apparently it was just recently discontinued! I cannot imagine what you they were thinking! I literally bought my set within the past two months!!! And I’m not thrilled by Rio Radiance either.

Great topic. I'm always on the prowl for my next coconut. I love Cocco a la Vaniglia. I have two 60 ml bottles, one is for next year. I found out that with Kyse, especially CAV, they truly get so rich if you can manage to leave them alone for as long as possible. The bottle I'm using now (a year old) has darkened up and is so much richer than it was when I 1st got it. I also love Lavanila Vanilla Coconut, Ganache Parfums Coconut Milk and Ganache Coconut Sorbet Intense. My best find though is Gardenia Colada from For The Scent Of It, an Etsy brand. I can't say enough good things about that frag as well as the other frags I've gotten from that house. GC is not a typical beachy, sunscreen-y or tropical drink type scent. It veers more in the direction of Crystal Noir EDP, pre-reformulation. It's that type of Coconut but so much better!! I also like Yosh Ginger Ciao, I'm pretty sure there's Coconut in it. We recently moved to Texas and of course there is a mosquito issue. I recently heard that a coconut scent repels bugs. Any success with that?
Oh yes years ago there was a natural perfume…I got it and wasn’t impressed. Maybe there is a new one. I’ll look into it. 😉
