The blank hole for another pump is for models with headlight washers. In that case, the tank actually has two pumps and is a bit more difficult to extract. Ask me how I know. :)
Is the pump in the same location for a 2015 328i?
The unused pump holder is for models with headlight washers. My E46 330ci has 2 pumps installed.
Just brought a 2000 328i and tank holds water, but nothing coming out. No hmm like it’s trying to work either. Y’all think it this part I need?
Same here, did that end up fixing it?
Hello..!!! Washer Pump works in properly, but it has a leak at the point which is connect it with rubber. If i replace pump will i solve the issue..??
I have the same problem. Only with other pump for front lights. I am not sure yet what to do but putting a zip tie over it solved nothing
Silicone seal that shit
@@RidingWithGerdas The pump with the rubber grommet was like $25 online. Other than the work, this is one aspect of E46 fixing that there's no need to go cheap on.
@@JP-qb4zn youre wrong this is exactly the spot you can go cheap on... were talking about windshield washer assembly here noting catastrophic will happen even if complete failure happens
