    The MIR 37mm and Jupiter 85mm fit in with these very well and round out the set.

    I have a set of the 37mm, 58mm, 85mm and the 135mm. Love Ironglass and hope to get the 20mm in the near future.

    Love my Helios 44-2! Had the MIR but sold it in need of money... If you want longer reach I can recommend Pentacon auto 4/200 MC or older non MC.

    I had the Helios 44M-4 58mm F2. Very nice lens with swirly bokeh but I had to sell it because it was overlapping in FL, kind of, with another vintage lens that I love and still keep. Would love to try a "MIR" lens. The name is awesome (it means "peace" if I am not mistaken).

    is this an paid sponscership i hope not, would it fit on a old camcorder with a 58mm thread?

    • @FattySoprano
      @FattySoprano  8 месяцев назад +1

      Nope ! Not paid ! Just me highly recommending these gorgeous lenses . Ironglass is selling those lenses with an ef or PL mount but you might be able to find them with a m39 or m42 mount on ebay .👌

    not so impressed. all of the soviet era lenses used out of date and slightly off lens designs from the manufacturers of the day. I would rather shoot with high quality optics and get that look from color grading and soft focus

    • @FattySoprano
      @FattySoprano  4 месяца назад

      Those soviet lenses has an extremely unique look , that is very hard to achieve in post , even with filters and color grading .

      @@FattySopranotry some of the Chinese or Indian lenses. Same design and same look without the wait. It's the lens design and materials used that determine the "look" the Chinese and Indian lenses are made with cheaper materials and machinery and can duplicate the look flawlessly. But I'd still say shoot with the best and degrade in post
