As someone who was a teenager in the 90's... trust me when I say.. Hootie and the blowfish were not only great.. they ARE the 90's! Darius Rucker is sooo damn good!!

Enjoyed the reaction! That is the name of the band with Darius Rucker singing lead. Hold My Hand and Only Wanna Be with You are the other 2 top 10 singles they have. Darius left the group and has a very successful solo career. He has a very unique singing voice and style.

That's Darius Rucker on lead vocals people do sometimes mistake him as hootie, this band has other hits too, checkout their hit song ...Only Wanna Be with You. That's a certified pen clicker too.

This band had a series of hit singles back in the early to mid-‘90s, which got a lot of play on radio. Didn’t pay too much attention ‘cause I was in a different place music-wise. It’s only with looking back, that I realize this song has a serious subject, loving somebody with an addiction. And that lead singer Darius Rucker does have a good, strong voice.
