    Kia Ora,
Great history on your mk 3
Been here three & everywhere that's for sure.
Caught a glimpse of the rifling.. very nice indeed.
The SA replacement barrel looks similar to the Lithgow H barrel .
Got a few Heavy barrels on range patern altered 303s in NZ there's getting pretty worn now days.
    Saw a unused barrel sell
for a LOT of $ here recently .
The service markings on 303s sure have some history & tell a story.
Fantastic to see your 113 year old Smelly still shooting:)
Have a wonderful day up there.
    Kind regards
    Chris

I’ve got a No.4 that was part of Operation Carpetbagger, airdropped to the French Resistance.
Easily my favorite bolt rifle. The reciever is a little complex, and if I were adopting a weapon for an army I would probably pick the Mauser, but as the bolt action *I* would want to take into WW1 or 2 it’s definitely the Lee Enfield
