My favorite band since I found them on RUclips. There father was in the Air Force they moved around alot...They started singing in church...I am sure Momma and Pappa taught them music when they were young...the harmony and melodies they make while playing and singing are so pure of heart and beautiful ...they are the best Blue Grass Band out there in my opinion.

Voted best show to watch in Branson, Missouri year after year. Their father was military and they moved around a lot. He was always trying to find something the family could do together, and they went to a bluegrass festival. He saw all these different families playing music together, so he bought a banjo at the show and handed it to his 13 year old daughter and said you are going to learn to play this. So they all started playing together and got to play at churches and small venues. They got better and better, and then moved to Branson, Missouri and eventually landed a gig at the iMax theater and now are voted each year as the best show in Branson.

Additional fun facts: the kids are required to learn piano first. They can literally all play piano as well as what you see them playing here. Also, the two eldest daughters have degrees in chemistry.

You really need to hear the youngest one Juliane sing. She’s the one with the mandolin. Her voice is really unique. I suggest her cover of Sting’s “Fields of Gold” or Glen Campbell’s “Gentle on my Mind”.
