The powerbank is definitely a lifesaver, but GoPros can't charge while recording for whatever reason. It's great if games are short and have breaks in-between so it can top up its battery, but useless if you need to record long games unfortunately. I still always bring an extra battery just in case!
It's SO CRAZY how similar our loadouts are -- I haven't used mine in years, but it's VERY similar to what you're doing... I had a hydration pack and a shotgun scabbard on top of it on my back instead of a katana, tho... lol. Insane. I never did a video on my loadout, but I really should have... Good video, man. I love everything about it!
No way. . . . Dude!! I have the exact same katana you have on your loadout and I wear it almost the exact same way! I also use a 2s stryfe I modded years ago.
In theory they would be good, but since the fields we play on have uneven ground, loose rocks and branches on the floor, having cleats would be worse. Boots are a lot better in my case since they'll help prevent rolling my ankles if I fall or step on a rock wrong.
i tend to carry more mags and my sidearm is different (dessert pigeon) but nice thing being i carry a modulus ecs-10 so ive got rails everywhere to put whatever i need. i run seven 22 dart mags and 5 pecker mags for my pigeon. 219 darts total on a 12 magazine loadout for my basic infantry kit.
Very cool setup. For the mag pouch wise would you consider using double M4 pouches which can fit like 3 talons if faced forward? Or maybe you can get an adapter to run placards instead. For the goggles wise I the only model which I am aware of that can fit glasses is the ESS striker though it might be a little pricey. Also oregon aero makes good helmet pads.
Thanks. I've seen some people use the double M4 pouches that way, but I wouldn't use them on the front of a chest rig because they'd probably get in the way of going prone since they stick out a fair bit. Those pouches would probably work well for a belt rig though since they can be put off center. Placards are also an option for me now as I've changed my plate carrier to one that accepts them since this video. I've looked into ESS strikers and other goggles but it's hard to drop money on them without trying them with my glasses first. I'll look into the oregon aero helmet pads too!
@@benpereznerf Yea I agree M4 pouches do stick up quite a bit when going prone. And if you’re looking into ESS goggles, I have the influx and profile both definitely won’t fit glasses. When I went to buy the ESS profile I went to black tactical in Singapore I tried on the striker it does fit the glasses but as for comfort wise I don’t really feel very comfortable. But it may be different for you.
great vid!! really helped me making my own loadout. question for you (would be great if you could answer): im thinking to buy a nerf stryfe as a primary, how many magazines do i need for a game and for my loadout?
It really depends on what games you'll be playing. Something like Humans vs Zombies needs lots of extra magazines, while if you're playing shorter round based games you won't need as much ammo. Also depends on how trigger happy you are and how many darts you can fit in each magazine. With a flywheel blaster, I'd recommend at least 5 magazines (1 in the blaster, 4 on your gear) as a minimum. You can always try to get more mags later if you regularly run out of ammo, while it can be a bit of a waste if you buy too many.
I've seen some people using those and they look like pretty good mag pouches. The only issue I have with them is that they look like they won't have good retention on talons. I've bought some estac clones to test out which I might review in the future
I am so depressed at how expensive the hk416 stryfe is, tbf everything that had got to do with nerf is so expensive, so i don't think i would ever get my hands on a stryfe hk416
so i know im reviving a comment section but will there be a 2023 loadout video? besides captain xavier, youve got some of the most comprehensive videos on this out there.
I'll probably make an updated loadout video at the next subscriber milestone (1k). Let's see if I'll reach it before the end of the year. Also thanks for the support!
The hoodie was only made on a limited preorder basis. I had to preorder mine in September last year. The designers are planning to release a summer version which will look the same, but won't be as thick sometime later this year. Just look up jeremyxzc123 on twitter. If you search up "combat shirt with hood" on aliexpress or amazon, a similar looking one should pop up and it comes in different colours
@@benpereznerf just one question Your scope is placed on a regular nerf atatchemant(sorry for my bad english) or a costume one that matches airsoft ones?
@@That.is.Andrew I'm so sorry for responding 6 months late, RUclips didn't give me a notification about your comment. The scopes attach to airsoft (picatinny) rails, not the regular nerf rails
Thanks. $40 is a pretty tight budget for something "sniper rifle" looking and will depend on where you live. The fortnite series has a few sniper looking blasters that you might be able to get fairly cheap second hand, but that's about it. The hobby-grade performance options will probably run you over $200 for true sniper looks
@@benpereznerf funny thing is ur brother knows me lol but thanks for the tips i alread yg have the basr-l and was looking for something more realistic to an awm but ill check thx
out of the gear, only really the helmet (which i wouldn't recommend), gloves and maybe mag pouches can be bought directly from australian stores. everything else has to be imported. for the blasters, most of the internal parts can be found at blastertech, but the rest have to be bought overseas.
Not sure what you mean by shells, but importing pretty much everything hobby related is a dice roll depending on how the customs officer is feeling when they inspect your parcel. In general, there is always a chance your package will be seized by customs. Tac gear shouldn't be much of an issue unless you're importing a lot in one order. Attachments are often a 50/50 chance to get seized. Some people have imported multiple sights, grips and stocks at once without issue, while others will get a single buttstock seized. Blasters seem to be even harder to import. Depending on the shape and colours of the blaster, it can have a higher chance of being seized. Ordering a box of darts with the blaster can usually help prove it is a toy and make it more likely to be approved but it is never guaranteed.
Ah okay. If it's something nerf branded then you should have no problem importing it. If it's not (e.g. a Worker Swordfish), there is a chance it could be seized.
The intro alone deserves a subscription
its awesome how almost the rest of the world has airsoft games but australia just has nerf games.
gotta love that loadout too.

Great idea on that PowerBank for the GoPro. Mine always runs out after like 45 min. Great Vid!

a metal worker flash hider

Not anymore. Full lengths don't really have any advantages except slightly higher fps in flywheelers
