Hello Lars, That is a good question. NP-11 is a higher quality gun (more metal and less plastic is used in its construction) that is better suited to coat larger workpieces such as car wheels. It is easier to clean. It needs a large and loud air compressor (1.5 hp and 24 liters reservoir is recommended). It is more of an industrial gun. NP-09 is a hobby gun that works well on small workpieces and can be used with a silent airbrush air compressor.
Powder has to be compatible with tribo type powder coating guns. In Europe almost all powder that is sold is compatible with both tribo and corona guns because both types of guns are popular here. In US tribo type guns are not that common so few sellers carry tribo type powder but www.powder365.com is one of them.

Powder coating gun How many volts of electricity?
This is a tribo type gun that does not have a high voltage power supply and has no KV rating. However it will do multiple layers of powder easily.
