Glad the trip is continuing to be a great adventure..always sucks when you loose your riding mate...glad you guys stumbled back to each other...good times...
I got painfully close to Gettysburg in the summer of 2017 whilst on a family trip but we were on a tight schedule and it was impossible to include. I wanted to get a feel for the place, having read a number of books about the Civil War. Maybe one day I'll get a chance to visit. FYI - as a viewer, I don't get the feeling you're not capturing enough... so don't fret about that. It's a big decision whether or not to try and publish while you're on the road.... As I write this, Marc is freshly arrived in Colombia (or should have) and I know that he's planning to capture during the trip and then create his film when he returns home after 4 months. I think you're on a longer journey, right?
Yep he has landed, he was waiting for his bike a few hours ago when we text'd. I thought about a long film on my return but as I plan to be on the road for a couple of years I think I'd forgot what I've done. Even now I forget until I look back at the footage. I've just completed the Dempster Highway and now I'm sat in Dawson City just going over footage from 5 weeks ago. It's also that fine line between putting interesting stuff in (well what I think is interesting) and trying to tell a storer or just filling time. I suppose I'm trying to figure out whether it's a vlog or a film and my style..... I'm sure that will come with time as well as learning to edit and film with the edit in mind.
Thanks again. Always enjoy these videos.
My pleasure

It really is especially without service. I suppose that’s where the inreach would work well.
Pain in the arse documenting when you just want to enjoy the vista's, but it'll be worth it and it'll get better.
Yep it is…. I’m trying to find the balance. Then there’s editing.
Content is fine, takes time to edit I'm sure...

@@demon_rides Well I'm enjoying you trying to figure that out.... Being an editor definitely makes one a better cameraperson.
@@ReelRidersPodcast you're a very patient man..... let's see if I can figure it out and be any good.
