As a pats fan , bill has been notorious for letting go of people that aren’t producing . He’s been an ass to all our legends and I’ve stood by it because we’ve won . It’s been 4 years since Brady’s been gone . Our team has sucked and he’s done some decisions that would have gotten any coach or GM fired . If Bill doesn’t accept the fact he has to bring someone in to take care of the GM role , he needs to go . He can’t expect to have grace when he’s been doing the same to our greats for decades . It’s just business bill and you aren’t producing

Tbh tho I think he does deserve a longer leash. It’s hard to replace a qb, nevermind a qb/te/mlb/k/cb ect. The whole team reset and we all went into this year knowing we weren’t a playoff team yet suddenly everyone’s upset over it.
Give him one more year after this, that’s my opinion. Because even with Johnu and Juju, we also got Gonzo, Judon, Stevenson, Jonathan Jones, Jack Jones, Uche, ect.

I agree to an extent but a lot of this is recency bias. Brady always had an elite defense. They always drafted well. And Brady always was on the more disciplined team. If he is a smart as I think he is, he will take the highest road possible in honoring Belichick for his incredible achievements as he shows him door over the red carpet. Otherwise, Belichick's firing is seen as the weakening of the franchise by all.

The Gm stuff could be true, but even then if he says he’ll leave all together if you remove that role from him then let him stay for another year.
I seriously don’t understand why people are so eager for him to leave. The team will only get worse lol let the man coach one more year and if it’s still a mess can him but I genuinely think 20 seasons of winning warrants more than 2 seasons to find a new franchise qb.

No matter what the Coaching staff at the end of this year will all be replaced, and a GM will have to be installed

Bill is the luckiest coach in NFL history. They accidentally got the greatest qb ever in the 6 round who never took as much money as he could because wanted rings so they were able to build around him for many years. Bill without Brady isn't even average as a head coach and his record proves it.

Glad I jumped ship when Brady left. Nothing like being a bandwagon fan😎

So basically, Bill didn't do anything special before Brady and he hasn't done anything special since Brady left. However he did select Brady and he got a lot of championships because of it. Some claim he is one the best ever and because he selected Brady maybe he is?

My Irish Granny calls coach Bill "Adult Diaper Boy" and she calls Mac Jones "Flutter Wutter" Her 2 favorite Pats of all time were Patrick Chung and of course #12 🐐. She loved Dont'a Hightower also .

    As a Patriot fan
Keep bill but remove his gm duties
Obviously amazing coach but he’s not the correct option at gm anymore

Who didn't see this coming? 😂
Kraft didn't choose Belichick over Brady, he just knew Tom wasn't the type to disclose where the bodies are. Bill on the other hand ...

Re-hiring Bill O'Brian should have been an excuse for terminating Belichick. Roll Tide

"Greatest General manager of all time."
Lol not even close. They are in this situation now because of Belichick the GM. He hasn't drafted a pro bowl skill position player since 2013.

If the Pats fire Belichick like this the word loyalty should just never be utter in the sports business anymore. Firing a HOF coach in the mist of a CLEAR rebuild with a terrible QB is kinda crazy to me but I guess the Pats think they’ll win another 3 superbowls the minute they fire Bill right 🙄

Connor is covering all of his bases. 1> There is no way Craft would fire Bill mid-season and there is no way that Bill would sit out a year. 2> But I could be wrong because I'm also an idiot. 😂🤣 o

So, Bill (and Sean Payton), is it the Coach or the Quarter Back? I’m curious.
