I’m going to show various piano music including classical pieces.
I will upload a new video every week.
Please leave comments if there are pieces which you want to listen to :)
#Schubert #Erlkönig #Erlkonig #Piano
Hi:) How are you? We almost hit 700k! So, I prepared the special video with Schubert’s piece. I used Liszt’s arrangement for piano. Lots of people requested this piece before. Schubert composed this piece when he was inspired by Goethe’s poem “Erlkönig". Several composers composed various pieces inspired by this poem. I added the comment for the story of the poem. Anyway, thank you so much for your support! My channel has been growing with your support. I will put in lots of effort to prepare for good performances. Please keep watching my channel And, always leave comments if there are pieces which you want to listen to Have a great day!! (This piece requires playing fast octaves in repeated notes. As I said before, my grand piano has a different sensor compared to a digital piano. In repeated notes, LEDs sometimes don’t work. Please understand)
Very nice playing
*I've never clicked on the video this fast❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️ Lysm🌍🌍🌍🌍*
Thanks Kassia, Please play Chaminade's Arabesque no.1
Congrats Kassia! :)
The visuals are sooo good!
Do you guys know the story of the poem “Erlkönig”? In brief (Wikipedia), a father is rushing him to medical aid. The son claims to see and hear the "Erlkönig" (Elf King). His father claims to not see or hear the creature, and he attempts to comfort his son, asserting natural explanations for what the child sees - a wisp of fog, rustling leaves, shimmering willows. The Elf King attempts to lure the child into joining him, promising amusement, rich clothes, and the attentions of his daughters. Finally, the Elf King declares that he will take the child by force. When his father reaches the destination, the child is already dead.
Just know it today
Schubert did such a great job and Liszt arranged it so well
That is so sad 😢
man that sad
Its insane How Good the version of schubert fits to the Text of the poem, if you hear it with someone singing the poem... But i think That is Not That obvious for people who Doesnt speak german😅😅.
How much tremolo does your piece need?
Schubert: "Yes."
Did to create an account just for this tremolo comment... lol
This is not actually the way Schubert wrote it. It's an arrangement by Liszt for Solo Piano as you can see in the video description, since the piece by Schubert splits in a part with the melody performed by a singer and the part of the piano playing along. The score of the piano by Schubert is "easier" (still very difficult) and with a lot less tremolos and stuff.

It's actually one of the hardest pieces on the wrists. The original has all the triplets on the right hand, and apart from the "Death" passages, it's non-stop for the entire piece. If you don't manage this well, you can injure yourself.
I didn’t know it was possible to play those octaves that fast. Even with my 9 years of piano experience, I still struggle with these. This is a mind blowing performance. Incredible job
You’re right.
Apparently with simply piano I can learn this in 5 minutes.
@@LeaningnothingwithLeowhen does the app claim that? I really hope you are just joking and not spreading misinformation 😬
@@Mster_J It's a running gag in the music community that simply piano is claiming to teach people the piano, but in reality it's just a cash grab. Ask twoset violin.
@@LeaningnothingwithLeo Simply Piano taught me the piano. The basics at least. And then I went to a real music teacher and since I already knew all the basics, we were able to skip all that and get to the more intermediate stuff. So it was a nice transition. I honestly think simply piano is really helpful for beginners
If I were to play this on my piano, my piano keys would never bounce back up.

Probably not, she’s likely trained to be very loose and to have good technique, if you she did not, then she would tense up, experience pain, and most probably go through subsequent injury. Lesson when you play piano: Relax and don’t involve more tension than you have to.

Wow! The visual effects are amazing! Also those octaves are clean, I dont think any people appreciate how hard it is to play such octaves for 4 minutes. Well done!
If I played it, I'd have lost my wrist, my arm or my piano lol
The hardest part with this piece is differentiating all the characters since not only do they use different ranges, they're "singing" differently with different emotions and this does a pretty good job in doing that.
I love Schubert's music. You've definitely done this piece justice Kassia! The visuals are just amazing too. Fantastic work! :)

In case anyone is wondering this is Liszt's arrangement of Schubert's lied (piece for piano and voice) Erlkoinig
me and my 7th grade lunch hour just watched this and we are praying for your hands (it sounded amazing)
Found this because I was listening to a "19th century villain" playlist and someone commented to look up this song. They were 100% right. This is amazing.
I have never been so impressed by someone playing the piano and especially this piece. And I mean NEVER.
I often think that many people overplay pieces by going crazy and therefore it loses the beauty of the piano but this one here and you Kassia? Just wow.
I wish I could play like this one day
Yes, many pianists do not focus enough on making a piece sound great, only on playing it "harder"

There is a recent South Korean TV series (or as people call them, k-drama) titled "Divorce Attorney Shin", where this piece is featured prominently. The main character who used to study music, finds a street piano one night, and plays it, as if to relieve internal stress. I am a lover of classical music, but this Shubert's piece was unknown to me. I was blown away how great it was. Therefore I searched for it, and this is how I found Kassia's channel. I feel so lucky. There is so much beautiful music here played by Kassia, I feel overwhelmed.
