Could Dave not have just redone the section through the second door and right at the checkpoint instead of replaying all the sections? I feel like he made this way more complicated than it actually was
Section 1 has no red, section 2 has one, and section 3 has two. Section 1 it's impossible to get the refresh checkpoint, and an off-screen mechanism discreetly collects a coin from section 3. Section 2 is secretly pointless as an off green mechanism collects the red coin for you. And section 3 discreetly collects all the red coins for you at the end
The level didn't break. Dave just key died. The red coins are a troll, when he got the normal key at 23:29, that was the level getting all the coins for him, so after that he were supposed to go into the secret area, but he managed to cheese his way into that secret area without replaying the level.

What I wonder: You die as soon as you get CP1. That means, there must be another way to the goal without getting the CP, because you have to complete a level from start to finish without dying.
I dare anyone to win this Level in some other way then keeping the Link. Cheese may not be the answer & it could also be the only way left when glitches seem used

he didn't realize he picked up all the coins when he got the key before he said there all gone it did not break just that he got all the coins then when went threw the check point it was to late he had to start over the level
