do you need to use the cut mat if you have stabilized your fabric with heat and bond?

I FINALLY figured out the easier way ever for me to pull applique designs into the Desiger Edition Plus (DE+) software that the Silhouette Cameo uses. Simply click on File, then Merge and go find your applique design and then choose the file type you use and click on the file to import it into DE+. Granted, you have to buy two upgrades to get this to work, unless your embroidery software will save the file in a format usable by DE. Hope that made some kind of sense and happy stitching everyone.

+Sandy Miller How much were the upgrades?

+Linda Calderon I don't remember exactly how much the upgrades were but I'm thinking they were about $50.00 for both of them. I believe I bought mine from Craft-E-Corner.

    What stabilizer did you use?

This is great information. However, I don't have the Embroidery Works Everyday software. I just have the software that came with my machine which is a Janome MC 10001 and I'm using the Customizer software. Any ideas as to how to do the same thing with the software that I have? I'm so lost at his point. TIA for your help.

You need to include the "names" of your supplies. Several people have asked with no response...not good!
