She never says she’s bringing liquid through security. She says she bring the cups to fill with water. You can take empty cups through security and fill once you’re in and that can go on the plane. My family of 5 does this ALWAYS. We also take food as well. I bring sandwiches. I bring chips. I bring granola. Never had an issue. There no tsa rule against food.

@@ThingsILove2266 where are you travelling to/from? International flights have different regulations. You cannot bring fruit or vegetables from another country into the U.S but for domestic travel, it is ok. Same with meat. It's the country that you're bringing food into that places restrictions on food. Liquids over 100 ml, of course, are never allowed unless it is breastmilk. Just make sure you research what you is and isn't allowed at your points of travel and you should be fine! I have never not travelled without food and my family has been travelling for 30+ years now all over the world!

@@lulunu9139 I must be unlucky. I don’t go anywhere exciting. I’ve had a lot of waters thrown out and some snacks (lunchbox items). Maybe I just get the hungry workers and I look sanitary enough to deem my food acceptable to steal for their lunch.

In the US any solid food (frozen burritos, fruit/veg, etc.) are fine coming through security. If it is spreadable or pourable (peanut butter, salsa, guac, yogurt, etc.), it has to abide by the liquid restrictions.

We take food on the plane all the time on domestic flights. W pack them in a small cooler pack similar to hers. We take our yeti bottles and when we pass through security we get either ice tea or fill them with water. We take mandarin orange already sectioned in baggies, mini belle cheese, protein bars. We have even gotten sandwiches like subway or breakfast sandwiches. Never a problem. Just be respectful and don’t bring anything on the plane like tuna salad or any smelly food. And no nuts. Sometimes we only have enough time to use the restroom and freshen up when changing planes and no time for food. You can get really hungry when you are flying 6 hrs and longer.

Chopped soft Fruit even in an insulated bag goes soggy and is inedible . An orange is good if you want something refreshing. I don’t see the point of Frozen Burritos. Airports are warm and so are overhead lockers for your bags , so they defrost quickly and emit water and become soggy . You can’t refreeze them and you can’t get a freezer in a hotel room! . I take homemade sandwiches which are eaten in the departure lounge and I also take snacks for inflight . (We all empty our Evian sport water bottles before we enter the entire departure area and on board just ask the air steward to fill the bottles and dispose of them before we land )

This is more like packing picks for food on flights….not really general packing tips

I’m kinda confused. I hope by packing these snacks and food, they are meant for the road to the airport and not the airplane itself. Because I have never been to an airport where during check in they allow outside foods and drinks in.

They allow food so long as it is solid. I worked at the airport and they told us to freeze our soups and then reheat them to eat for lunch.

Where are you traveling to/from? Food is always allowed for domestic travel! I've never not traveled without food!

🤔Burritos will THAW-OUT, then u want to REFREEZE them?
🤔I Don't THINK THAT IS VERY SANITARY.
    🤔where's the family's DRINKS?
🤔so the only snacks u have for kids to travel is fruit & maybe vegs (which is probably more for you to two)….
And no drinks for even emergency 😮

It's only a flight. Why can't you just make due? Its not like youre traveling to Siberia. Can you actually bring all those things onto the plane after having your carry-on checked. People are so babyish anymore.

You mean you pop the burritos in the oven, not the freezer. You can't refreeze food.

You can bring food onto a plane. She never said to fill it up with liquids before security. After security, you can put water in a bottle. Some airports have water fountains that have a spot for bottles...

Food is definitely allowed. I’ve flown plenty and always bring food and never have an issue… though certain types of foods may be restricted, like certain types of fruits.
