To everyone who’s complaining about JJ: the reason she says that the evidence can’t be proven is because the plaintiff do not have forensic evidence. They only have the step-by-step process, which should be taken. But that does not preclude anyone, hacking, stealing, lying, to get information.

    • @katesweeney9101

Exactly. They literally had no proof. No emails. No signatures. No text messages. No video. JJ can't simply rule based on, "Well, I assume what they're telling me is correct." Anyone who watches this show regularly knows that JJ doesn't play that game.

That was infuriating. They don't have to prove beyond a reasonable doubt. Just show its more likely than not. Its the way she was so arrogant about it too, tellin them theres no way they can prove it and laughing in their faces. How about this: DC is the only people with the address list. DC confirms only 2 people requested the list: the plaintiffs and the defendants. The defendants requested the list on Jan 1st. The flyers were sent out Jan 20th. The flyers all came from the zip code from the post office in one of the defendants neighborhood. Boom...more likely than not it was the defendants that sent the flyers out. That could have happened...we'll never know cause JJ kept cutting them off and wouldn't let them explain. They seemed like very intelligent people who had their paperwork in order, I would have liked to hear them out.

They seem to be basing their case on "nobody had access to those names and addresses", then they conceded that the parent union had them. That's a big problem with the case. I'm unconvinced the names and addresses are secure. I mean, they need to send out correspondence and things like election dates to the members. That list could have been accessed by anybody, and all kinds of defamatory statements sent out, from how the candidates go to Thailand for access to children for sex, to spending union funds to organize a dog fighting operation. That doesn't mean the opposing candidates created the documents or sent them.

Neither policy nor regulations prove that something did or did not happen -- both of those are upheld by choice at one's own risk. Judge Judy sounded foolish and very partial here.
That's why I always say the judicial system is not about justice, but about whose speech was more clever on the day. Sometimes the one in the right just happens to be more clever.

I’m sure JJ knows there’s a possibility they’re guilty. Unfortunately he cannot guarantee the addresses are secure, or that the defendants are the ones who distributed the addresses. She is bound by proof. No proof. No case.
JJ is bound by the law. The law requires proof. The plaintiffs do not have proof

I don’t agree with JJ on this case.. I hate when she tell someone that they can’t prove something that they can in her courtroom.. I would love to go on her show if I ever sued someone bc I would definitely tell her when she is wrong no matter if I had to loose the case or not.. bc she is flat out wrong for how she handled them people.. was mean from the start..
