NY and LA can't have the Old Style, but they had Dennis Farina for a good long while. Still, he never lost his Chicago accent. He will be sorely missed.
My Man Dennis...From Real Life CPD to Actor, Birthday was on Leap Day... February 29th, along with the Late Actor Alex Rocco. Dennis was a True Chicago Italian American, he was True to his City until he Died!
Dennis Farina was an amazing actor ! He never got that great Godfather type role that he should have ! He excelled in anything that he did -either crime or comedy !
I bought an Old Style beer on tap at 15 years old at Cleveland Municipal Stadium in 1986 in the lines, it was halftime and I stood in line, so busy they just sold it to me asking no ID. ......Win.
These would've been hilarious if my dad hadn't been an alcoholic that went through a 24-pack of those a night. My mom STILL won't allow anybody to bring Old Style into her house after divorcing him 33 years ago
0:22 To this day, whenever I have a set of keys in my possession, I always have the urge to jingle them in front of me and go, "Hey you big dummies, look what I got!" Even when there's nobody around. I guess that tells you who the real dummy is.
OK, but Henry the Serial Killer was chugging him some Old Style, and nobody stopped *him*, even then he said, *F* the Bears....so if I show up in Chi Town, nobody better stop *me*, since I'm better than Henry as I've never done any serial killing, so that should entitle me to a can of Old Style if I pay for it!!
I'm from Milwaukee where we were surrounded by beer from the late 1800's to the 90s. Miller, Blatz, Schlitz, and my favorite Pabst. Old Style from Lacrosse Wi might be the worst beer ever brewed. It's why it only caught on in Chicago. Yes originally it was a Chicago beer but eventually moved to Wi maybe to be sheik ? Idk. But I will say only the pudding heads from Chicago actually like and buy this beer. Take my word, its HORRIBLE

If these commercials have any factual basis, those kegs were probably stolen from Chicago!
