Thanks I have the non-brushless and I was wondering the difference between the two. Looks like I have to wait 12 more days for your 1-year update!

spoiler alert ! - I like these, the battery last longer, they are tiny bit less heavy, for the average DIY'er - won't notice a big difference unless you use it heavy all day long, then the extra battery life might pay off, but it does have slightly different gearing, which makes the low speeds a little easier to control - thanks for subscribing!

It seems to me for a weekend woodworker a corded compact driver would be best. Just plug in and go. No charging batteries or replacing expensive batteries.

batteries are a lot less of a concern since lithium-ion became available, but still a concern, but your concern of a weekend worker having different needs is exactly what makes HF so good for a weekend wood worker - no need to speed money for high dollar tools that only see occasional use, I prefer cordless drivers, I have several from HF, but I don't see the need to have cordless everything like HF is pushing with the bauer line, I have several generators and inverters I can use If I'm away from commercial power, I'm sure everyone has different needs and preferences, which is why I like to have options - thanks for subscribing!

Does this thing have enough power for small bolts on a car for auto use.

I would go up to the 1/2 inch impact driver, or an air wrench, a car is a special case, and tend to be very difficult to remove bolts, and these really are not meant for that use hard use and might now have the power for car work, although they are probably fine for light duty use on cars - thanks for subscribing!

I just saw warrior now has an impact driver.

I just saw that yesterday, after Imade this video,l it looks like a good one, but came a bit late, I had already bought this one, wonder how far they are going to expand the warrior line, drill master has mostly been rolled into warrior, and I think they are splitting the chicago electric line between warrior and bauer, be it always had at least 2 tiers, seems like they are trying re-invent themselves and their low/mid range, odd no real routers yet - the bauer line is probably a little more than I need, but they are great tools, thanks for subscribing!

@@snapwholeharborfreightreviews I have the warrior drill but that’s it. I loved the Chicago Electric line but as you know it’s no longer. I’m like you I’m loving the Bauer line. I just got the bench grinder.

Being so heavily invested in the DeWalt system, I probably won’t be buying this….it wasn’t around when I got into DeWalt…..but it looks like it’s solid….time will tell.

My initial reaction too, only I had the warrior 20v system, but they only have the drill/driver, and I still use the warrior a lot, but when the bauer line was released, but bought into it, it just came out at the right time for me - thanks for subscribing!

@@joekuran5833 I like the brushless impact drive and the other brushless tools, I hope they come out with more of those, the brushless tools with a 5/8 hour battery would be nice, the hedge trimmer, yard trimmer and blower especially
