great video, i started playing piano 8 months ago and i'm learning all by myself i choose this song as the 5th to learn, searching for tutorials i found your chanel and i have to say oh boy your chanel is amazing so many technique tips, it will help me a lot, thanks!!!!!!!
Can you do a similar tip video for Schubert’s Moments Musicaux no 3 in f minor. I am trying to get this to performance level and I am struggling at with measures 9 and 13. I can’t for try a life of me get the notes to ring out cleanly it just sounds like a jumbled mess. Thanks for the tips I will definitely keep them in mind.
In order to play this well, is it necessary to hold the legato in top melody note with the right pinky, or does the pedal suffice? I'm asking because my hands have trouble stretching due to injury.
Thank you for the question! It is NOT necessary to hold the top note with the 5th finger. I have heard it played like this (using the pedal to give the impression of legato) and I can't say I could hear the difference! However, It is very challenging to get the pedaling down when playing like this, I know from experience! I hope that helps!
im trying to learn this. im just 5'1" tall and my hand span is not that big so my fingers hurt after keeping them stretched for long. any tips to help me out?
This piece is much harder than it sounds, thank you for sharing!

try to sweep across the keys with your hand instead of keeping them still and reaching with your fingers. If that makes sense?
Great video but the grand piano has to be tuned!
