I just wanted to use the kit and voice list that are readily available on the Alesis Nitro Mesh. Have you tried messing around it and came up with a voice there that sounded like Taylor Hawkins?

I just started playing drums recently but have toured Canada as a lead guitarist in an original songs band and have been on radio and TV. I figured drumming would help improve my guitaring as there is always room for improvement, plus it's fun to hammer those drums! 😂.

Great video and I was blown away by the sound of the kit. I have tried using DAWs too but I have always had latency issues. Even using ASIO4ALL didn’t help. Please share tips and how you handle the latency while live playing.
@@aduityadarnal7259 pretty much if you have EZdrummer you would load that into your daw through the fx option or plug in option and then in the EZdrummer settings under midi settings there’s an option to pick your alesis kit. I run it usb to my computer by the way

Thanks man! It is very comfortable, although it did take me some time to get used to the difference in size vs an acoustic kit. Having said that, sensibility and overall feel is incredible, especially for the price. Great buy all in all!

Fantastic cover, spot on! I just got this kit for my son today - I wondered why you have only 1 snare and 2 toms and 4 cymbals? The one I got has 3 cymbals, a snare and 3 toms. I think I see where your fourth has gone - you have it as the bass drum it seems! So, is your 4th cymbal from the expansion? I was unaware you could customise it as much as this ( I'm a total noob btw ). Can you let me know why you did this and the benefits? My son's is setup the same way it is in nearly all the photos ( on the box and on Amazon ). Will he still be able to play songs like this to the same standard ( eventually of course ! ) with it set up like it is at the moment?
Hey! It’s the same as you bought for your son, but I set it up differently. It’s just a matter of preference (this is how I set my acoustic kit). The crash cymbal on my right is from another brand, not part of the kit. And the double bass is also from another brand - I’m not using the tom pad as double bass. Also, the sound is coming from a compute program, not the Alesis Module that comes with the kit. Please let me know if you have any questions and hope your son likes drumming!

I "try" to learn guitar with Rocksmith since you can use a real one. I used to love Guitar Hero/Rock Band but you don't really get to learn the real instrument

Just use ez drummer and set Alesis as the controller and load EZdrummer onto your daw
