Richardson is amazing, but what Petrucci did, does and will do for the metal, progressive etc it’s unbeatable
both are great, different styles, way of playing, Djent Vs Pogressive. I prefer progressive.

dont forget the guy in the 90s that also influenced many other in prog but who else influenced john p it was steve morse ,not forgetting the late 80s or 70s there were very old school prog rock , go listen many bands you will see influences but in the 2000 i stil like john p his playin in liquid tension is phenomenal can you beat those guys woooh

Despite having his *own* sig model Jason just can’t seem to keep a majesty out of his hands for very long. He’s probably sold more people on John’s guitar than his own.
