  • @Soulreaze

    My problem with Legion is the rares, reputations & rewards. Rares are not rare and do not drop exclusive loot (just see Mists of Pandaria rares who dropped useful items like the mass taunting horn for example.) Reputations are just a complete fucking joke with piss-quality rewards, where did the times go where you would find worthwhile items in a reputation that you couldn't find anywhere else? Again, I cite Mists of Pandaria with reputations, every single reputation in that expansion had something unique to them, Klaxxi for Amber Scorpion, Golden Lotus for crane mounts and Order of the Cloud Serpent offered a really cool quest chain and grind up to Exalted to get you the required skill to fly a cloud serpent!
    The biggest slap in the face of all was the paragon system in 7.2, the mounts that should've already been included with the reputations at the start of the expansion. I don't grind a reputation for a chance of a reward, I grind it because I know at the end I'm guranteed to get one.

    • @adamarzo559
      @adamarzo559 7 лет назад

      Boohoo. You'll just have to not have the mounts from paragon rep. I'm sure you will be fine.

    • @Soulreaze
      @Soulreaze 7 лет назад +11

      I do not mind the Paragon system having mounts in it but when they have mounts that should've been exalted rewards that kinda goes on my nerves, especially for how lackluster the reputations were in the first place. For example, it would've been good if the paragon system had armored versions of the mounts instead (or similar) and the exalted rewards were the unarmored ones that they currently use.

    • @fizman22
      @fizman22 7 лет назад +3

      Your right about rares. Also rare mobs in MoP were very hard to solo, but possible, really pushed you to the limit. I"m not sure why Blizz removes systems that work for no reason.

    • @NamesAreForNerds
      @NamesAreForNerds 7 лет назад +2

      Soul Designs great for you but thats ALL subjective.. i quite like there not being gear locked behind rep for example, sucks having to do that stuff on alts. rares arent a problem for me either, who does that shit anyway. see where im coming from? you cant blame blizz for stuff like that, its too subjective. its literally impossible to please everyone.. just getting a bit sick of all the complaining i guess

    • @Soulreaze
      @Soulreaze 7 лет назад +3

      That's the thing with Blizzard though, if you watch at what they are doing in Legion it is to please as many persons as possible.
      Saying that no one does rares at all is subjective. Of course no one currently is doing rares because there is no reason for doing them since they are all the same. In MoP you would see people at rare spawns pretty much 24/7 and people are even farming the rares to this day, just see the Zandalari Warbringers who got added in Patch 5.2 or the rare in Dread Wastes who drops the 300% xp potion.
      Gear locked behind rep was just another option of many to help you gear up if you enjoyed doing that. It's not like they were forcing you to get the gear, there were plenty of other options to obtain same-quality gear. Sorry but I do not see where you are coming from because you're doing exactly what you're blaming me for.
      I'm not complaining because I want to, it is because I care about this game and I want it to improve.

    At this point i only level alts through invasions. whenever one is up i log into the 3 alts im leveling and knock all the WQ in that invasion, giving me 90% of a level. I've leveled like 4 characters through legion this way and its way better than grinding through the same leveling quests ive already done before. Heirlooms at this point will only mean that i will need a couple invasions less to reach 110.

    Isle of Thunder is a good example of time-gating done right, I think. It made sense to do things step by step each week, slowly gaining more of a foothold on the island, and it kept you interested in the zone because you'd see more of it as the weeks went on (as well as the campaign being fun). I feel like the Broken Shore is just a worse version of this. Everything is already there so there's nothing exciting about doing the weekly campaign quests, and there's no story involved in those quests so it just feels like a waste of time.

    • @GamingPsycotic
      @GamingPsycotic 7 лет назад +3

      You only have to go one patch back to find good time gating. Suramar was fine.

    • @liamdalton79
      @liamdalton79 7 лет назад +5

      That's true. I can forgive timegating when it makes sense in the narrative to do so. There we saw Thelyssra coming up with a solution to the withered problem, and trying to gather allies in the city, which takes time obvs. Then we have Lyleth trying to get a position in the royal court, again, something that takes time.
      Then you have the Broken Shore, where Illidan and Khadgar are standing there doing nothing, and then every Tuesday they come up with the fabulous idea of "ooh actually it turns out I need you to collect 10 of those wyrmtongue caches that have been around for fucking weeks"

    Asmon you can level pretty fast by doing Legion invasions. Each quest gives you 60,000-65,000 xp while there is 6 quests in total. Thats not even counting rested experience. I was able to go 100-110 by completing 2 and 1/2 zones with these invasions. Its a pretty good strategy to leveling a lot of alts fast.

  • @Jimmypwnsyou
    @Jimmypwnsyou 7 лет назад +7

    After playing since Day 1 of Vanilla, I feel like it's all wasted time anyway when they've changed the Artifact system already, and even if you were hardcore enough to farm the 200 Trillion points and get Concordance 50, you're just going to end up vendoring the item for 144 gold next expansion anyway. None of these grinds do anything to advance the incentives of playing the game. The legendary system is abysmal - there is no sense of that old world "Look I found an epic!" All that is, is "Oh I didn't get my Best Legendary again, glad my chances are reset to 0." I play this game because I love it and want it to succeed, but at this rate, it will not.

    I'm a filthy casual since Cata. Tried to get back into raiding with legion. The grind just killed me. No idea how I did it in Vanilla and TBC. When it was just as boring farming rune cloth and motes. Like today farming AP and gear. Maybe I'm just getting old. I had fun lv'ing to 110 and hitting GL 870 by Trial. It wore me out. I have a family now and can't justify 6-14 hours days anymore. Still like watching these videos and WoW related content. Just not playing anymore. Ty for video.

      Played fairly hardcore during both and I disagree. Granted I was a healer in vanilla and TBC. So my grind was tougher with kill times compared to today. Vanilla I farmed herbs/leather and TBC was motes. I mean dude have you tried farming shadow motes back then? (2.1) Literally only one mob dropped them. I rather farm AP today or gear than those fucking Motes of Shadow.

    I've done pretty much all I wanted so far in Legion, I'm mostly waiting for Tomb of Sargeras.
    Prestige level 13: Complete
    Nighthold Progression: 10/10Hc 4/10 Mythic
    Guild Activities: Regulary
    Pet Battles: Not Much
    Lore/Story: Everything (More or less)
    Challenge Artefact: Protection (MS)
    Concordance: Complete
    Farming materials/professions: Sometimes
    Getting gear: 905/912 with good variation of statcaps
    So what do I do? Well my care to play the game fell a bit after getting Concordance so while waiting for Tomb of Sargeras I took the decision to go play a bit on the new Nolstarius/Elysium server :)

    one of the many reasons why i quit is the second artifact grind. the first grind was fine because it was new and a obtainable end goal. But the second grind made your first grind feel like "why did i even do this" or "you got 50 traits? here get reset and do it again for another ~60 traits". I didnt want to do another grind just to keep up so i just quit. i still have about 6weeks left of sub so i just raid with my guild but damn filling up a bar just dont feel fun with the second iteration of artifact power grinding.

      Alessio Motta you're missing my point. The fact we got reset to 39 traits and having to continue to level up our weapons when we were done with them just is not fun. This just leads to farther burnout.

      Also the tos 11 week questline is just the worst fucking unimaginative piece of shit in the history of wow. Its a questline that leads up to a raid so it should feel epic. Not fucking fly around looking for chest or kill 100 demons or gather 4000 nethershards for a 3999 nethershard reward. Fuck all that. That shit pissed me off.

    • @alessiomotta9173

      Yeah I get you but the new traits sometime offer some good and fun addition to the class that's different than gain X amount of main stat or X amount of secondary stats and I enjoyed lvling up my weapon again specially because it was really fast even without doing any mythic +.

      @alessiomotta9173 7 лет назад

      I agree on that, I enjoyed the questline that lead us to unlock new traits, the follower one and the Anduin one was quite epic, anything else is just pointless fillers which they could have avoided tbh. I'm not sure what will happen the next steps though.

    I stopped playing recently after being subbed since vanilla, spending over 1300 days played across all my characters. I'm a casual player these days, i stopped raiding after Wrath.
    Legion by far is the most unfriendly expansion towards alts that i have ever experienced. In the past Horde and Alliance gotten a different take on the events, but in Legion the quests for the most part remain the same. Having to do the same questlines multiple times was incredibly dreadful. I wanted to reach 110 with all my characters as soon as possible so i could get the AK ball rolling, because if i didn't i felt like i get a lot more out of my alts, and my time as soon as i get them to cap it out. This led me to often not even playing my alts at all, because without AK 25, i felt like doing questlines in suramar would have been a huge waste of time, since i would get a LOT less out of it. I didn't like how the power of my character was limited by time because of the class order missions going on for too long, taking more than a week to finish.
    Timegating got way out of hand in this expansion. I was worried about it since MoP when they gated LFR release many weeks past the original release, and now they seem to have fully embraced it and i absolutely hate it. It might feel better in terms of their storytelling that their quest lines ending line up very close to the release of their next raid tier, but i just hate it. Instead of getting it done quickly on one character, i was strung along for months, only doing one quest chain at a time, and their quality was often extremely poor. From long scenarios, to stupid fetch quests. I got extremely frustrated once i saw what they had in store in 7.2. There was absolutely nothing to do at launch, from a huge invasion of the broken shores, it felt awfully quiet because there was fuck all to do. When i saw the first quest pop up on my map i got all excited of all the cool possibilities of what it could be, only to find out that it was a simple fetch quest, and it was over on delivery. I got sent to grab a treasure from a chest, and that was it for the day. What a fucking joke that was. I would rather finish up these quest lines a lot faster, so i can move onto playing my alts.
    World quests. I like them, but i would have liked them even more if i would have had flying available from the get go, because even though i get around very easily as a mage with all the toys from pandaria, and my spells, i often shudder at the thought of having to traverse the shitty layout of these islands. If they didn't put in the flightmaster whistle, it would have been a very irritating experience.
    Flying. I don't like that they gate it behind a meta achievement that is filled with arbitrary requirements which has nothing to do with flying. If the content is good enough, i would consume it without the need of being forced into it. As a casual person, having flying allows me to get a lot more out of the time that is available to me. I treat ground travel, and Flight paths as obnoxious loading screens and nothing else. I'm fine with it being later introduced in a patch, but don't make me jump through hoops just to get it. I don't buy into the "you have to earn it" crap they started peddling to people to allow them to box in a very important feature that they can re-sell at every expansion.
    I don't mind titanforging, but i do feel like mythic should always reward the best gear possible. I don't think there is a need for titanforging in mythic, it should just give the highest item level possible, and leave titanforging to the smaller difficulties. A lot of guilds can't progress well in a mythic raid, and that is proven how many are stuck after 2-3 bosses into the Nighthold. It gives a lot of incentives to do content that would otherwise be irrelevant to you, because there is always that small sliver of chance that you get surprised with an upgrade. I would still prefer if RNG wouldn't be a factor at all, but i guess this is just the age we live in. The lazy design of RNG.
    I thought the legendary drops were okay, but i can definitely see, and i totally agree that it made an overall negative impact on the game. I thought legendaries were a clever way to get people more invested in their characters and get hooked on the game, but in a raiding scenario they are treated more like alternative talents where you pick and choose which one is the best for that situation. They made far too many of them, and the drop rate was way too low, and there were massive difference between them. They didn't have the resources to spend it on a legendary quest line, so i guess this was the next experiment for them. I think the ship has already sailed on giving legendaries only to raiders of the highest difficulty, so i doubt that would have been an option in Legion.
    Reputations were probably the easiest and the most casual friendly they have ever been. There aren't any grindy reputations, which kind of makes me sad, because i don't mind a long grind every once in a while, if the rewards are good in the end. I think the boxes they give another incentive to do what you already been doing anyway.
    They definitely doing a great job with the pet battles, no complaints there.
    I think Legion in overall is a good expansion, however they moved so far away from the game that i used to love that i just can't play it anymore. It might satisfy their new audience, but i'm certainly not one of them anymore. I might join the millions that come back after a new expansion drops, and leave once my month runs out, but i'm not even sure if this game worth my money and my time anymore. I love the art style of the game, and the music, and it keeps getting better and better every year, however the underlying systems within it just ruin everything. They borrow far too much from their other titles, such as world quest, brawl, paragon and they show very little originality in return, and it makes for a less immersive gameplay. I would love to see Azeroth revamped and get a much needed fix for the leveling experience, but from the looks of it they are content with leaving it broken, even though this is the first thing most new players experience.

    what I would think that could fix the PvP system is make gear have tweaks for spells, so for instance if you get a chest piece for your frost mage it will give you the health regen for iceblock back that used to be a glyph. perhaps there could be multiple options per piece so allow for diverse talent choices and this will also make ppl want to grind for offspec armour
    these effects would obviously only be applied in PvP dedicated zones, let me know what you think!

    I level my alts without even doing any zones lol. I set them up so they're getting xp order hall missions and just use those to do it over the course of about a month. Now you can also do invasions as well to speed it up alot. Just do the elite WQ from invasions and you get 10-15% per WQ and they take about 30 seconds.

      I agree game is basically copy and paste of diablo 3 now. Took the talent system, now all specs usually have a 4 button rotation with some exceptions such as monk. Gearing system is D3, mythic plus is greater rifts translated into wow form. I can't think of one original concept in legion. Every thing they added was copy and pasted straight from diablo 3

    • @NamesAreForNerds

      - I'm saying the entire legion is copied from diablo, not the rest of the game.
      - I also don't have to give constructive criticism dipshit, im not a game designer. If they want me to think up ways of improving the game then they can hire me and pay me for it. I'm entitled to bitch all day about systems in the game that i find are shit, and guess what snowflake? I don't have to come up with a better idea myself.

  • @nicks5440
    @nicks5440 7 лет назад

    Another note on leveling - you can do the legion invasion while leveling, and it counts as a bonus quest, and also gives xp as its reward. I completely skipped an entire area when I hit 110 on my alt, the downside being I was insanely undergeared. The dauntless gear system helps but even being able to get it is a hassle, I often leached off other people doing world quests for help.

    You know what really pisses me off about Blizzard? Kinda like what you were saying around 6:35 - 6:50, but Blizzard, for some fucking reason, puts something in the game which SHOULD have been there, and they try and find a reason for you to obtain it doing content.
    Example: The new 'faction' mounts that just came in 7.2, the unicorn, red stormdrake, moose mount, etc. All those mounts should have been on the vendor and purchaseable once you hit exalted. They should have had multiple color variations, like Blizzard has done in the past. But because a few people bitch about the mounts in WoD, Blizzard has to change everything up and make the mounts available 2 major patches later, and require you to do a ton more WQs and raise your rep up for a *chance* at getting the mount.
    What the fuck Blizz? Just put the goddamn mounts up on the vendor with different color variations for 20k gold a piece or some shit.

    • @Radninja88
      @Radninja88 7 лет назад +5

      I feel you on that one. That's where different color variations could have came into play. You could have one that's RnG drop, one that's a gold buy (a goal to work up to), and one that's more centered around their questlines and lore.

    • @Gravyon
      @Gravyon 7 лет назад +4

      Or they could have just left out the time gating. For a lot of players, it's nice to have a feeling of accomplishment for finishing something that rewards something cool. Some activities, like the classhall questline are easy. Others, like the Mage Tower, are more difficult. There's nothing wrong with either of these. That being said, there's no sense of accomplishment for buying an item off of a vendor. This severely cheapens not just the reward but the enjoyment of the players who get it. They did this in Warlords and, let's be frank, it was boring as fuck. I never once felt like I had earned any of the mounts that I got from the vendors. Yes, getting exalted with Vol'jin's spear was a grind, but a rep grind doesn't constitute fun content, especially when that rep grind is slow and monotonous.

    • @adamarzo559
      @adamarzo559 7 лет назад +2

      There are plenty of mounts that are sold by vendors. You are not required to use your class hall mount. Here's where your sense of entitlement is bulging out. It's insane that you think you're entitled to a class mount without doing anything other than visiting a vendor.
      Well, you're not.

    • @MrAntiDK
      @MrAntiDK 7 лет назад

      Same thing with gating half your fucking class behind a dumb artifact system just for the sake of squeezing out content. The amount of scummy things Blizzard has done this expansion for the sake of "content" is way too much. It's like they're punishing us for saying we didn't have enough content in WoD with some kind of monkey's paw wish.

    I've been playing in a very casual way. I came back about 3 months ago, got to 110, then didnt do anything else with legion for about a month. I just did some achievement and mount farming and at the end of the day would do about an hour worth of legion content. My guild ran me through Normal Nighthold, so I was able to get up to 860 ilvl. They know I wont be raiding but they knew it would make it easier to work through the legion content. Right now it's a shared time between casual achievement and xmog farming and slowly working my way through legion. I know I won't catch up, so I'm just taking my time and enjoying the experience . Legion is a great expansion if you don't really care about getting as high as you can go. I'm about to start mythic dungeons and still loving the expansion.

    I play fire mage and have stayed mainly for raiding. We are 5/10 in M nighthold at the moment :D hoping to get 8/10 or 9/10 before tomb.
    I agree with the things you have sayed about titanforging even though i have 915 titanforged heroic shoulders. Titanforge should cap at mythic ilv.
    Mythic+ have been fun for me except when i get a really bad group and deplete a key(i don't remember getting anything good from this chests, and with the incoming loot nerf well i won't be doing more than the weekly i think)
    I don't do pvp(i do sometimes but only for the ap).
    Tailoring was a joke as the Bloodtotem Saddle Blanket. Nice one blizz....
    I really dislike the legendary system. I like the legendaries tough but it feels like you should be able to get them more quickly. I play regularly and get 1 each 4-5 weeks(got 7 ATM). I'm missing a second best in slot for ST, but i least i got lucky and got the aoe one first and the bis for singletarget 4°. Maybe it would be better if they timegated the legendaries, like. Do this quest that gets you an especific legendary, but you can choose wich one you want to each month(different quest, hopefully with something interesting in the middle not like [kill 20 demons], more like something lore related to the item).
    That is it. Have a good day Asmond.

    I absolutely love the concemt of using the whole world, not just the current continent/zone. Maybe have a message board in the current main hub that tells what zone has the current invasion/fight. You go to that zone and the area scales to you, you get gold or xp or some tangeble reward and you have a reason to have the flight point to a zone or a shortcut to that zone. It would greatly inprove and increase the playability of the game.

    Legion is a great game that is hamstrung by a myriad of awful systems design decisions. The content (questing, raiding, dungeons) is great, but everything else in Legion is downright atrocious. Legendaries, Titanforging, AK/AP grind, class design, PvP design, RNG in general. These things absolutely ruin the experience for me and many others.
    While I hesitate to say Legion is the worst expansion to date, with WoD being so awful in different ways, I think I have enjoyed Legion the least of any time period in WoW. It's very hard to enjoy a game which feels like it's stringing you along with gambling and tiny RNG incentives. It's also difficult to enjoy a game in which your favorite classes are no longer fun, see: Hunters.

    For professions, why cant there be some patterns to craft mythic level gear that drop from mythic bosses only, patterns for heroic level gear drop on heroic only etc. You could have each profession just cover 1 or 2 slots (so you cant just go and buy a full set of mythic gear off the AH) and make the patterns cost a shitton of mats, but this way you could just choose to farm a lot and work towards a really good piece of gear. I feel like profession gear now is way to annoying to upgrade to max level and way to unrewarding as it still sucks when fully upgraded and is replaced in week one of doing the new raid on heroic.

    i don't rly like worldquests that much. but thats mainly because of the random spawns of them and the random reward. I rly hope they don't scrap the idea of adding normal dayli quests back into the game. it was really fullfilling to work for items for specific factions every day and i think that's one thing i missed the most in WoD. when I hit lv 100 I was like "so where are the daylis" but there werent any. One of the big arguments against daylis was in MoP that people burned out doing those, but i think adding back the 20 or 25 ( i cant remember exactly) daylis limitation would be a perfect solution.
    I also miss the item rewards faction vendors gave. I still remember every item they gave you in wotlk and cataclysm. But now in legion they just give toys and pets :(

      @ hopesedge You say that, but i've never played vanilla wow in my life until i started elysium and thats lasted me longer than legion did. I'm still playing vanilla where as on retail i quit pretty soon after.

    I fully agree with titantforge creating a lot of fatigue. I'm still running hc NH purely for gul'dans loot having a chance of upgrading (I'm fury so as you're well that's depending on legendaries the chest, draught and tier legs) I don't want to farm the same raid on 2 different modes at the same time. that's technically another night of raiding I have to do even tho we already spend 3 nights a week on mythic

    I started this game sometime in late April. So I've been playing 4+, maybe 5.x weeks now.
    In that time I've maxed out a character, I'm at 88m AP to the next upgrade, give or take, ilvl 878 give or take, and I'm sort of out of things to do. My personal experience with pick-up raids is that everybody wants 900+ ilvl quick AP farming, so my dinky 878 ilvl toon isn't going to cut it. Still, there's 3 raid dungeons out so far and I'm 2/3 Normal and would *love* to at least try some heroic raid dungeons. Alas..
    Since I can't join any, my sole means of gear progression seems to be mythic+ dungeons (very boring) or sentinax farming (yawn) - I haven't unlocked flying yet - I didn't unlock flying in WoD; I quit shortly after the new zone was released and only beat some of the bosses of HFC on Normal. I don't even think I finished it in LFG! So if I unlock flying I will feel like I've accomplished "more" this time than last. Oddly, playing less than I did in WoD.
    Once I unlock flying I seriously don't know what I will do. I tried leveling an alt but the leveling experience is terrible. Then I think about the AP farming and feel even less motivated to play.
    If I were to suggest something to returning players, it is to wait 12-15 months, or however long legion has been out, plus 3 months. You won't miss anything important and you can just steamroll through the content and save money. It also limits burnout and gives you some semblance of completion rather than apathy when you inevitably stop playing and wait for the next expansion.
    Sorry Bliz.

    "It has such great content"
    Like what content?
    World Quests aka Content you've already done while leveling up and are now forced to do every single day?
    3 raids with little to nothing between the bosses and like no lore in either of them, that people care about?

    • @Fabriciod_Crv
      @Fabriciod_Crv 7 лет назад +3

      1. ''Already done while leveling''? i don't remember doing the Kirin tor quests during leveling
      2. You pretty much sumarized most bosses from previous raids across all expansions, not just Legion. Also, ''no lore in either of them'', Xavious, Gul'dan, Helya,the nighmare dragons, the old god-ish in EN, they have lore if you take the time to read their description in the dungeon jornal

    The idea of Mythic ilvl being the cap of titanforging is very good in my opinion. But also I would like to see valor being added back now, so you can get maybe an heroic or mythic item and get it up to that max titanforge ilvl and so not being dependent on rng

  • @PossibleDoot

    In regards to leveling, you can easily pop out a level with rested xp through legion invasions. Yes invasions are hindered by time limits and poor timing overall (unless you plan it out via the public invasion time sheet on google sheets), and yes im talking about rested xp so this is a more selective case. Even with unrested xp you could get a half level or maybe more by doing invasions. Doing that with your daily legion dungeon should get you close or more than a level which would theoretically reduce the time spent in a particular legion zone you hate (for me that zone would be high mountain). So what I do is plan out the next invasion and get my alt in there, complete all the quests. Doing this 2-3 times will make it so I don't need to do highmaul, albeit I'm spending more time leveling (2-3 days). It is nice if you aren't in a rush to level an alt. Of course like you said 7 hrs ish to level an alt in legion zone to zone is faster, but more annoying when you don't want to hit those boring zones.

      Okay fair point. So they are bored with the game. Why not just quit instead of throwing tantrums about it? nothing blizzard do will please everyone. There will always be a small fraction that is not satisfyed with how wow is at a set time. But I would belive most can agree you are still having a better time in legion over wod. There are quite literary thousands of other good games out there, if you are burned out go and test them and see if the grass is greener on the other side. That is what I did in wod.

    • @Fogelvatten
      @Fogelvatten 7 лет назад +1

      I did play wod for about 100 days. I agree that wod had way less content, but the content they had was much more rewarding and fun. Im going as far as saying that wod was twice as good as legion is, also wod is the second worst expantion imo.
      Pretty sure legion will end with 3 mil subs or lower.

    • @styxzero1675
      @styxzero1675 7 лет назад

      +Fogelvatten Well that is not the general populations opinion but sure I respect your opinion. Also I doubt we would ever know how many subs there are considering they stopped showing sub numbers in wod due to it dropping too much there. Also do you think garrison was rewarding and fun? xD

      Max Mustermann In WoD I could raid even tho I have small kids, the AP grind killed it for me in Legio

    • @123igottadeez9
      @123igottadeez9 7 лет назад +5

      I agree... I was really looking forward to legion but when I started playing again (after 6 months of college) I grinded world quests, did a few mythic + dungeons and I got sick of it after a few weeks.
      Questing seemed like it would be an improvement with the zones adjusting to your level so you can go to whichever one you would want to start from. When I went to level my alts I got bored of the quests after leveling my mage (alt) and I couldn't get myself to want to level all 5 of my alts because of it. Like Asmongold said, leveling in WoD was somehow way more fun with all the ways you can level... even with the garrison missions.
      Leveling is my favorite part of WoW, I got bored of the dungeons this expansion after doing them so many times to grind for gear and AP...I was considering quitting and one day I deleted all my characters and quit WoW. Even though WoD didn't have a lot of content, for some reason I had way more fun playing it with my guild in HFC BRF, Highmaul and even PVP was more fun.

    I still play but I've stopped raiding. I tried out for a top 100 guild and I was neck and neck with their other Frost DK for the one spot the raid wanted. Mechanics, damage, we were pretty even in both, but the first Frost lego I got was the worthless cloak and he got the BIS helm. Losing a raid spot due to RNG just really soured my look on raiding in this expansion.

  • @arfs7520
    @arfs7520 7 лет назад

    Pretty much. I haven't even bought the expansion, played the beta in august for 2 weeks 8-10 hours a day and i felt like i've seen everything the game has to offer. They really need to bring back a sense of progression and gate certain parts of content behind difficulty (like what they did with Court of Stars and The Arcway).
    Also, they need to fix titanforging. Every piece of gear should only roll up to the next difficulty's baseline itemlevel.

    Legion fanboys are more annoying than people like Alexensual. You critisize the game in ANY way and they'll say things like "Dont play the game then faggot" "You try to make a better game". And if you ever mention the good times about vanilla theyll say "Take off your nostalgia tinted goggles Vanilla sucks and legion is way better no debate."
