  • Fly Fishing in Pennsylvania is rewarding not only with the amazing fish you get to catch, but also with the beautiful places you get to experience. In this episode we feature Clearshade Creek, it is one of ten premiere trout streams called the Laurel Highlands Trout Trail. Trout Unlimited does an amazing job maintaining these streams and we are going to try our best to showcase them throughout the summer. If you would like more information about these streams check out the link below and good luck in your next adventure!

Hey thanks! That is how most of my breaks at work are spent as well. Makes me want to hit the outdoors even more as soon as work is over

I have an old fenwick fly rod I use on small creeks it’s a 2w at 4-1/2 foot what would you recommend for the bigger waters I mainly fish extremely small creeks but the rod I have now just isn’t sufficient for the bigger creeks and I want to travel more and hit as much water in pa as I can

A 9ft 5w is a great all around rod for almost any water in Pennsylvania. Depending on what style of fishing you plan to do 10ft 3w is also a good option
