If you notice he never throws any arm punches. He punches with his legs and core. He’s always nice & loose never tight on the bag or in the fight ..

@@Godmysheperd perhaps but he clearly has a fighting style of his own stooped in accurate basics of Russian fluidity but with western overtones - his fighting idol was Sugar Ray Leonard after all.
Regardless if you're a fan of the sport he's a masterpiece to watch.
His lead hook sometimes is but he does it on purpose to feint to the body then bring it up top.
Great point...he is reliant on technique and great timing...doesn't gas out punching

My favorite fighter by far atm. This guy's discipline, footwork and crisp punching is different. Beautifull hooks whip like.
Russian school of boxing its like a freestyle swimming stroke but it’s a hook for them now i see how he is throwing consecutive hooks while moving backwards during his mitts training.

It would be his hardest opponent by far but everyone said Ramirez is the bigger and harder puncher and Bivol not even get hit with a clean hard shot once in a 12 round fight
What I want to say is that Bivol have an elite defense and to hit him is very hard
Skillwise nobody and also Beterbiev will beat him and powerwise as I mentioned he is hard to hit and also have a solid chin
Beterbiev strength is different that’s for sure and even canelo or Ramirez aren’t comparable to his strength also his skills are higher than many suggest
After all I would say Bivol vs Beterviev is like Canelo vs GGG

I doubt Ramirez is relaxing. This is by far and away the biggest fight and most difficult opponent of his career. A win for Zurdo puts him in the realm of the elite. I’m sure he’s working his ass off and he’s a live one. This is not gonna be a walk in the park for Bivol.

training footage for canelo fight, showed bivol always with his hands low.. . that worried me about him, but come fight night canelo coudnt land a clean shot on his face. training footage is very deceptive.
