Ice cream, cotton candy and other desserts comes from the 1st Persian Empire around 550 BC, Iranians are believed to have created a sweet frozen dessert called *Faloodeh* , which is made of ice, honey, saffron, and fruits. The Persian Empire (today Iran) is believed to have created *Sharbat* , a chilled dessert drink.
The origins of ice cream can be traced back to ancient China. It is believed that around 200 BC, the Chinese created a dish made from a mixture of rice, milk, and snow. Additionally, during the Tang Dynasty (618-907 AD), a concoction of milk and ice was enjoyed by the royal family. However, ice cream as we know it today began to take shape in the Middle East and Europe. In the 9th century, Arabs developed a form of ice cream made with milk, sugar, and various flavorings, often using ice from the mountains. Ice cream gained popularity in Italy during the Renaissance, with Catherine de' Medici bringing it to France in the 16th century when she married Henry II of France. From there, it spread throughout Europe. So, while China is credited with the earliest form of ice cream, the modern version of the dessert evolved over centuries through contributions from various cultures.
Everytime I search for a video for the Origin Of Icecream every one of the videos state icecream began around the 2nd century B.C.... But then go on to say it's Snow and honey... That's not ICECREAM!!! I want to know when the Invention of conventional modern icecream as we know it ( Cream, Milk, Sugar and Flavor) came Into existance.....
It’s 3:00 in the morning, I have to wake up at 7:00, I’m not using this video for a project, why am I here. What use does the history of ice cream have to me?
It wasn't, what people refer to is a record from later times and the only thing it has in common with modern ice cream is the use of milk which the recipe probably came from nomadic cultures. Ice cream has its roots in the Middle East and then eventually takes on its modern form in Europe.
So we are just going to ignore where Marco Polo got his recipe from huh? Just skip over any research into that. Great way to white wash history. Pun intended.

Imagine how lucky we are. We are enjoying the best version of ice creams in this generation. While Alexander the Great ate raw ice with honey .
