Downtown Bristol is full of restaurants, shops, and things to do. It has a great selection of restaurants to choose from, and there are plenty of options on the waterfront. Not only that, but the housing here is fantastic!
You’ll find fairly affordable homes ( at least for the southern side of Rhode Island ) between $400,000 and $600,000, and the square footage tends to be favorable for most of the homes available in the area. You also have some beautiful historic homes in the area close to downtown that are full of that classic character that many people enjoy in a historic home.

I used to live in the house DIRECTLY across from Quitos. I used to go to summer camp at Colt State Park. Some of my first and fondest memories ever are in Bristol. Proud to call this beautiful town my hometown. Although many of the locals i grew up with want nothing more than to leave, I miss it.😢

I grew up in Bristol. It's a beautiful community. The locals (aka "Bristolians") are usually pretty friendly but tend to be very provincial - either you leave at a young age or you stay until you die. I wouldn't move back, but it's a great place to grow up and raise a family.

When were you born? I spent the early years of my life in Bristol. From about 1995-2005 or so. I went to Colt-Andrews. Also went to summer camp at Colt State Park.
We have extreme potholes, high taxes, unfriendly people, and very unpredictable weather. Other than that, it’s great!
