You ladies gave me so much laughter amd smiles.. I thought I watch this one to get fillers.. I got some of them from your list and I need to google them now to see the pictures. Thanks for the list. Hopefully I got most of them. You ladies having so muvh fun! 😊
Do not denigrate your design skills. The arrangements you create are stunning and original. Sometimes the professionally trained florists make arrangements that look stiff and formulaic. Your designs are charming and lovely. They look simple in the way that only comes from an empathy with flowers.
Please don't sell yourselves short. You definitely do have it together where it counts. This was one of the most helpful videos for planning the cut flowers. Thank you.
'Redneck Couture'....Oh, you ladies make me giggle - and snort. My kind of humour, to a tee. Very much the type of business I am in the process of building, too. Homegrown, self-taught, humble, 'organic-ish', and purty ;) Nice to see other ladies growing in dresses and skirts, too!
@@rootdesigncompany Thank you, I appreciate it! I would never have guessed you two are sisters, by the way. I have six sisters, and we get everything from refusal to believe we're related, to 'are you twins?'
Another great video. I would really enjoy seeing more wimsical flower bouquets made. That includes the names of the flowers! Thanks again! I adore you both!!
New subscriber here! I just recently found your channel, and I am in love... with the flowers, the bouquets, your personalities, your humor, your story, your video quality, ... EVERYTHING is perfection! PTL!
Your bouquets are gorgeous! Please show us how you put them together . I grow lots of flowers but would love to feel more confident in arranging them. Enjoyed this video and am learning to grow certain colors and invested a lot in perennial and flowering bushes to make it easier. Where are you growing at? Thanks
Thank you for sharing your experiences and those beautiful flower arrangements that you made! Your videos always add joy and beauty to my day. Thank you!

Your flowers are jaw dropping! Would love to see you guys pot them up. I like how the flowers drape over the flower pots. Big thumbs up to your photographer 👍
You both are so talented! Would love to see a video or 3 on putting a bouquet together, how you choose what to put in the bouquets, etc. And thanks for adding the outtakes, laughing with you all is good for the soul ☺️
We are hopeful to make a video or three on bouquet making a bit later when we have flowers to work with , so stay tuned for that! :) And it would be even better if you were here in person to laugh with us. :D
Thank you for your fun videos. You truly belong in my tribe! 🤓 I am getting together a cutting garden and need those twinkle flowers. 🌸 I look forward to your season.
Just stumbled upon your lovely channel at the exact right time! We just bought a house in Washington Township Ohio and I'm planning out our landscape and want to plant a cut flower garden just for me and some friends. Please keep it up and know how much I appreciate the info.
I’d love to learn how you combine colors in the bouquets you make since they are stunning! I just found your channel and I love your aesthetic and eye for design. You claim you don’t have it all together but you definitely have something very special. Thank you for creating these videos 💓
I would love to have a cutting flower patch in my garden so this is very cool info to get. I also love the pattern on your blouse. Great job, the arrangements are beautiful!
@@rootdesigncompanyOur winters are similar to 8b but we get quite wet and mild summers so it's not quite the same. Especially where I am in the West. More days of rain per annum than most of Europe. This year has been the dryest May on record so who knows what's in store for summer!
Not to be a geek--meant to be helpful: Celosia is pronounced "che-law-SI-ah." CE in Latin and Italian are a CH as in church sound. There are no "closed" vowels in Latin, which means they all feel a little loose or "open." hence, the "LO" in Celosia is not pronounced "low" but law. Sorry--I'm a classical singer so I have to know this stuff. :) Hope that helps .
Hello!! I love love love your videos, I’ve been folding laundry and enjoying your tips on growing flowers and giggling along with you:) my question is : where do you buy your flower seeds? Do you get them in bulk and do you save seeds for the following season or do you buy each growing season? Thank you so much!
Our favorite place to buy seeds is wherever we can find the varieties we want to grow! ;) We usually start with Johnny’s Seeds, but also buy from Geo Seed, Chiltern Seeds (England) and Floret Seeds. We do save some heirloom seed from the garden, too. We have a theory that eventually the seed you save year over year adapts to your climate and becomes more vigorous. Because we are relatively small, buying in bulk means we are way over buying, so we don’t do a lot of that.
I didn't really think through filler plants, I mostly bought feature flowers - what would you say are your top 3 if you had to choose and have limited space?

I agree. Forsythia is beautiful in the autumn to use in bouquets.

Wrong. Not a Latin word. It comes from Ancient Greek, meaning burning. You people have Google, right? Why not check things?

I enjoyed your video. Makes me feel okay. Hugs. I am just now trying to get some garden flowers going for bouquets. Hugs.
We wish you a lot of success this year! Be gracious to yourself if you have a failure or two, and be sure to celebrate your success!
Would love to see you plant in your gardens. Number of plant in a row how close do you plant. You look like you have fun that is what is important
Hi, I’m wondering what variety of viburnum you use? Also, what are your favorite rose varieties for arranging and vase life?
Thanks 😊 Lauren
What are the tall greens in your bouquets?

Another lovely herb that produces flower is parsley
Yes! We like that one, too!
Do you succession plant the celosia or is this plant just a long time bloomer? I haven't grown it yet... thanks!
Could you share what the rose is at time stamp 1:16? I’m making my rose list to add for next year and that is a beautiful one!
That is a David Austin rose, crown princess margretta, a beauty!
Loved this video!
You are so talented! Love your video! I had trouble hearing you though, the music was a little loud
so fun ! thanks for the cilantro tip, are the garden roses different than David Austin roses?
David Austen roses are referred to as 'garden roses' in the cut flower industry. Garden roses are mostly hybrids.
Do you both wear the black caps for religious reasons?
Love the content, but don't love the distracting (too loud) music.
Can you add the name of the flowers on the videos next time? You the categories but not the flowers. It’s good information but hard to follow
