Thank you for sharing. I love the quickness of the video. Straight to the point. This is what we're looking for in video's. Keep up the GREAT job flower farming. Blessings from Michigan
I am surprised you did not mention Sweet William (Dianthus Barbatus). Tall, graceful, scented, beautiful colours, hardy biennial...what more could you want?
You put amazing content videos , really enjoy watching . I do lack information on youtube about conditioning various type of flowers as well as keeping in coolers to extend vase life
New subscriber! So happy this video popped up. I’m an aspiring cut flower grower & this is my first year. Y’all are a pleasure to watch and to see you both working together as a team. Happy growing ❤️💐
Thanks for sharing! I am starting out on my journey to cut flowers and am sponging up anything I get get from the two of you. I am really glad you include pics of some of these as well. I am semi retired and just want a little hobby business with bouquets. What is in your very favorite bouquet? I am also wondering what pricepoint to start at for my local farmers market if you have any advice! Thank.you again!
It’s hard to have a favorite! Each season has one. Ranunculus and lady’s mantle for spring. Sunflowers and agrostemma in the summer. Pricing your bouquets is a hard one because it depends on your market and region. If your getting more serious with your growing, we would recommend joining the ASCFG. We price stems individually and work to bouquets at several price points.
Awesome thank you for sharing! I am venturing out to picking flowers this year 😱 I super nervous 🤣 you guys are helping me know iam on the right track. I am growing a lot od the stuff you listed. Even though my picking flower garden will be small compared to you guys. I exited to see how it all comes together 🌻❤
We keep it really simple. Fresh water in a clean bucket. They’re transferred into another clean bucket with a floral bleach tablet before heading to market.
We only save some of our celosia seed. Otherwise we purchase new seed every year. Most if these varieties are hybrids and wouldn't grow true to form from its seed.
Do you pinch your argrostemma? It's my first year growing a cut flower garden and to pinch or not to pinch is always my biggest question! Thank you! :)
Just love lady’s mantle..I’ve had it my garden for over 20 years!
Thanks for the informative video. It was nice to meet you!
thank you for the tips

Awesome bouquets flowers, thanks for sharing this video, great.
I absolutely loved this video! Thanks for making it

I'm just a home grower, but I love zinnias, hyssop, astibe, lavender, sunflowers, carnations, hydrangeas! They are all amazing in bouquets.
I struggle with growing ladies mantle. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
I love the goldenrod too. Do many people get squeemish thinking they are allergic? Pretty sure that is not the case though...
Very few people are bothered by it. It blooms at the same time as ragweed so it gets confused as an allergen.
Love watching your videos! At 6:51, when you discuss golden rod, what type of zinnia is that? The one that is in focus.
Thanks!
Where do u buy your seeds? Would love to see how you sow them, soil, trays, your growing area, preferred lights etc
Baker Creek and Johnnies are good seed sources. Those are great video ideas. We'll work on them!
@@PepperHarrow Hope you do it soon!

Thanks for this great info. Could you please make a similiar video on fillers, focal flowers, and sparkle flowers by season? So helpful!
Great ideas! We'll work on them!

How do you get your ladies mantle so
Large ?
Could you also share any special treatment to give the cuts. Hot water, quick dip ect? Thanks
We keep it really simple. Fresh water in a clean bucket. They’re transferred into another clean bucket with a floral bleach tablet before heading to market.
Thank you very helpful. Question for you so for the fall fillers does that mean you plant the flowers later in the season?
Yes, we plant into mid July for fall blooms
Do you save any of your own seeds or do you buy new every year?
We only save some of our celosia seed. Otherwise we purchase new seed every year. Most if these varieties are hybrids and wouldn't grow true to form from its seed.
How do you protect your plants from deer? Enjoyed the video.
Right now our dogs do a pretty good job but always working on solutions.
Do you pinch your argrostemma? It's my first year growing a cut flower garden and to pinch or not to pinch is always my biggest question! Thank you! :)
We don’t pinch agro. We’ll try to get a video in about what we punch here in the farm.
Just subscribed and wondering where you Live and the zone? Really enjoying your videos!
Zone 5 Iowa ✨
Do you have a recommendation for an annual, white umbrel type of flower, that looks something like Queen Anne's Lace? Thank-you
Ammi is great!
Love your channel. I live in Ankeny and wondering if you are close.
We're in Madison County!
Do the amaranth or millet drop seeds as they age in the vase?
Not if harvested early enough 👍
Would love y’all to show more images of your flowers and gardens as you talk to us
great idea!
