He gained through the Ford chicanes as well, throwing the car into drifts like a boss. It wasn't the cleanest of laps, there were a couple of moments where he lost time. Both the 1st and 2nd sectors weren't purple (in both he was more than a 0.1s off) yet he made so much time up in the last sector! What a legend!

Kevin is proved several times that he's a proper animal behind the wheel, especially in the wet. His performance at the N24s earlier and this lap just further justifies why he's being put behind the wheel anytime there's 4 drops of water on the track. 5 laps old tires, damp track, with the clock running out... What a mad lad

This lap it is incredible mainly the 4 moments where it seemed that estre lost everything: the dunlop chicane, the second chicane, indianapolis and the ford chicane. And it also shows us that to be ahead in qualifying with the current level of drivers, you have to take full risks without going over the limit because if that happens you will be out and it can be a mistake that can be very costly as it happened to Kobayashi.

Misha Charoudin Robert Michell at Nuremburgring, through their relationship to Manthey Racing and THEIR racing program, introduced Kevin and his young family to their followers. Having watched the Manthey GT2 in Kevin's hands at the 24 Hours of Nuremburg, we've ALL watched in awe at Kevin's wild and oh-so-very-fast and manic style. His now famous 'Pass-On-The-Grass' (plus his wins) have brought him to his current and fantasticly deserved place with at the pinnacle of endurance racing with (wow!) a factory/Penske seat! Your great editing and production work should bring much more deserved success. THANK you!

“Ah, not possible without the draft of the Oreca” “best conditions on track as the last driver” Let me make one thing clear: yes the Porsche was the best car in all tests before Le Mans. Were they able to carry it over to the actual thing? Not really. Kevin showed a lot of the times why he is one of the greatest sports car drivers and gt drivers in history. You need a lot to do a pass on the grass with over 250 on the green hell, several times! Kevin has all of it and more. In this situation with pressure he had it was world class, if not to say a Max Verstappen Masterclass. He even almost missed hyperpole, it went so bad in hyperpole with traffic, mistakes and not that muvh performance in the Porsche everyone thought it should have but what he did with all that circumstances, almost loosing it four times, doing the last sector in tokyo drift style, holy cow I have no words for it. With all that pressure to deliver and safe the so far not easy weekend, with a track getting colder and colder, he even had a fuel warning two or three times on the lap. One last sentence to finish this roman: EstieBestie is a damn legend and did what EstieBestie does best!
