What a bunch of cuties. So looking forward in seeing updates on these in the many stages of growth and blooms. Fingers crossed. I know that you will do well with them and you will be able to enjoy their blooms. Have a real great day and enjoy your new orchids.
Sending good vibes to your new plants. I too live in SCAL and recently purchased my first masdevallia. It also went through leaf spotting and dropped a few leafs too but 30 days later it's looking better, also noticed a new growth.
I bit the bullet on masdevallias super recently too! I'm growing in PNW, so cool and humid/wet is easily attainable for most of the year. I'm interested to see how your masdes do! I also got a floribunda from HDO, I have the 'maj' variety.
Wow these are all so beautiful and unique, I haven’t seen them before! I had no idea there were so many hybrids. Thanks so much for sharing and showing what the flowers look like too, soo cool. Happily subscribing, I’m always excited to meet a new plant friend ☺️
Thank you for the shoutout! I'm happy that you decided to try the masdies out. Isn't the bushiness just the best? I'm constantly trying to gently tease leaves out of the way to see what's going on in the center of the plant. The Masdevallia Confetti looks great, I've been looking fro a glandulosa-like masdie since I love the colours, but I haven't found one yet. You really jumped in with both feet! Great looking haul I have yet to get mine to rebloom, but they are still throwing up lots of new growths, so hopefully soon. Love the cat! It's a beauty. Do they have a name?
Jess T. 🤣 that is the goal. I have issues with leaf rot on these. And they don’t like their roots messed with. So the less you do to them the better. Allegedly.

Good on you for giving them a try. I only have 1 so I wont offer suggestions. But I hope you enjoy them and get many blooms.
