In today's Europa Universalis IV (EU4) video we will be removing the number 1 great power from the map every 10 years for the first 100 years of the game for 10 tags in total. Everyone else is given buffs to colonization to fill in the empty space left behind and we're going to watch and see how it goes.

In all honesty though the grind isn't as bad as it is in wt especially the North Africa one.
Nice video, try great power #1 gets +100 agressive expansion with their (neighbors and rivals or etc) every 10 years

@@felixcroc good point, I have no idea on how to fix that, maybe exclude Europe or tweak the game’s code somehow so they would spawn everywhere (except the home region)

I can see a challenge run using this mod, having some specific hard goals to achieve, so that you must get stronger, but not too strong to be deleted.

I think a variant of this where the GP would implode into every tag in its borders would also be cool if possible

Really enjoyed this, I'm a new viewer! A long time ago I watched a series (and then played with) a mod in EU4 that randomised your own played country every x amount of years. It was a blast to keep track of how much I helped with their progression and what happened to them when I wasn't there to control. I'd absolutely love to see a series based on that again, I have only ever seen one RUclipsr do it and it was a great series.
idk how hard it would be to implement but maybe the equivalant of a same-colour cb so that if two countries with a land border have colours which are deemed to similar an event occurs which merges the countries in some way

Fun alternative would be: Nr 1 great power has +10 separatism in every province. Though that might melt the average CPU.

An idea: the US states mod, but give one of the smaller states all of the monuments
Give them to Florida and watch those invincible Florida Men conquer the new world.
an idea: delete every nation that isn't an opm at the start of the game, opms start with +2 colonists and +20 tax income. Let them battle it out.

This was great, i have a suggestion: when there's too many tags in a newly colonized region, how about giving all tags with some province a claim on the entire region? Unite_region_cb kinda All of them so it's gonna be more rounded up.
What do you think?
Could you make it so that every 10 years every nation has one of their missions auto complete?
Maybe you can do eu4 but 3 random nations get extreme buffes, you can even make it into a series!
How about removing all mission requirements so that every nation starts with their mission rewards fully unlocked? (This might require some major tweaks for certain missions I understand)
How about using this mod with just 1 year cooldown instead of 10 year cooldown and see which nation remain at last?

Is it possible to make the protestant/reform centers spawn in Asia? and my second suggestion is to delete all 10 great powers at the start and run the same mod again to get more nations.

How about giving nations that get bigger than a certain point super destructive debuffs until like 1600 or something along those lines
I could see this being a fun hot potato kinda game, everyone plays major powers and has to undev provinces to make sure their not number 1

I love how for most of EU4 history people didn't feel the need to use a native removal mod, and then the devs decided to pander and make them stupid broken with terrible AI who can never beat them, and now most players feel they need to remove them. Good work Paradox

It'd be fun if this mod had an option to release all releasable nations, return all cores and leave the rest uncolonized to the #1 GP
EU4, but randomized mission trees and national ideas. Eu4, but the old world starts with native technology levels and federation mechanics and new world starts with beginning European tech levels

this would be better if it doesnt get deleted but collapses into all the formable nations... for example england becoming northumberlands wales etc... and loosing the cores on those new nations

This patch England seems to always get a Protestant centre of Reformation and it's massively irritating, because it often means no Anglican and also slows down the Reformation within the HRE making the Catholic League much stronger.
Anglican has spawned in 9/10 of my runs in 1.34
