There's no way to be able to assess sound quality from a YT video. You need to hear it in person. To my ears, in person, Audirvana beats all the others.
hi, I too loved the audirvana sound but had to switch to roon since there was no headless option for audirvana, besides my everytime I powered up my computer the audirvana would take a good 30 minutes to read from my 2 2tb SSDs. Roon came free of these issues. I wish there was a workaround it.
@ntshivarajan1947 One option is buy an inexpensive low power computer as a dedicated music server and use the app to control it. I purchased an Asus Aspire J4125 computer from the Asus refurb store for $90 and I am running it 24/7. Works really well and uses very little power with the J4125 processor so I don't mind just leaving it on.
@@prashantshivarajan1947 you can tell audivana at start up not to rescan your database at stratup. Anyway for me so far sudirvana beat roon by far (socially on topics like database consistency, sound quality).
I feel like legacy was the best to my ears. But they were all pretty close
Origin by far. Whats your observation? Plex and Roon has digital glitch sound, Legacy sounds too polite. Apple in between the pack, second best.

Plex and Legacy is more spacious... the other kinda bit veil
