the one on the left is the most beautiful thing i’ve ever seen... and the guitars aren’t bad either
Lol
William Fermer I think your screen is reversed or something. The Captain is on the right.
There is absolutely no doubt in my mind that I could make a $15,000 guitar sound like a $50 guitar! Gorgeous instruments. Will admire from afar.
🤣🤣🤣
You should do an episode where you relic them....
lol !!!
Thanks for the laugh! Bravo!
How dare you.
AOuough
😂😂
My artist package prs was 5 grand and I initially had the same reaction, "don't hurt it!" Then I realized I was keeping it for the rest of my life and it was meant to be played. It's the most well made thing I've ever bought in my life.
The clean big chord bit Pete played sounds EPIC. Beautiful looking and sounding guitar. Time to sell one of the kids...
"I get the feeling you'll be using the coil split function on these a lot."
lol Lee implying that these guitars will be played
haha true
~cries quietly~
nsiderultimaseth lol. Lee implying that someone will buy them and play them.
If I had that money I’d play the shit out of it. What use is a guitar that never gets played
Imagine how cool it'd be if in fifty years one of these had been played to death and looked like it. Give a new meaning to the word "relic" because it's literally a piece of both history and art
@@Spazza42 Exhorbinately expensive guitars like this are kind of sold as a piece of art. I'm sure they play and sound terrific, but they aren't marketed for performing/working musicians. They're primarily for collectors and wealthy hobbyists.
The dragon inlays are not for me, but holy crap the level of craftsmanship that I'm sure is required to make that look that good is astounding.
Love the energy today Cap! Much needed this rainy morning
Luv seeing videos like this for unobtainable guitars. Can’t think whenever else I would get a sense of them. Cheers fellas.
Just in from work, a shift in a hospital, and I open up YT with dinner to see what there is. Lads, seeing the pair of you jamming put a smile on my face, so thank you for that.
I love you guys. Thank you for keeping up the flow of videos.
Glad you are enjoying the videos! 🤘
Thank you for the demo, these are great works of art with the best materials available and while I would not buy one, I can still appreciate greatness, Jeff in LA USA
Now that you have played them are they classed as second hand and going cheap now lol
Mark B lol yeah and like standard PRS’s they probably loose half their value on the 2nd hand market
Definitely B stock now

Enjoyed the "30 Grand Blues"! Lovely things and good for you for actually playing them.
Hello from the little town of Eaton Ohio. Always enjoy your videos. You guys are awesome and the guitars are awesome too!
Absolutely beautiful guitars! Love you guys!
Great video, I really enjoyed. Those guitars sound awesome. Great close up of the dragon. Can’t imagine how good that looks when it’s right in front of you. Great job guys👍
bssni touir hi, They did sound good to me but yeah I wouldn’t know if they sounded better than much cheaper guitars because I’m only just learning to play and if I owned it, it won’t sound that good anyway but I get your point, just because it cost a lot and to me looks nice, doesn’t mean that it actually sounds better. I do like them though.
Lovely playing guys. Enjoyed this one.
Thank you for putting up amazing content for us to pass our time... Message and Request for Pete: your playing is immaculate and most importantly your chord vocabulary is very rich! Would you care to make a video and tell us on how you go about building a chord progression and showing us what types of chords you like to use? Thank you in advance! Cheers and be safe!
yes this is a great idea
Nice to see u Pete and Lee!
I’ve seen the video of them making the dragon out of thousands of pieces. Really beautiful and cool. 🎸
I'm just here for the Captain lick hahahaha ... great review gents :)
Paul does it again. Great to see you two playing live again. Cheers
Thanks for tuning in! 🤘
I started playing guitar around 1985 , around the time PRS guitars started , and I still haven't owned one. This year I hope to own one. Love the story how Paul got the company started.
Wow the tonality of this guitar is staggering really ! A piece of art .
Appreciate these guitar vids😃
Good morning Captain and Pete!
Good morning!
@@andertonstina and b say, its only loooove! cheers capn! cheers guys! tyune!
Easy for u to say
Cant miss the Captain and Danish Pete. Highlight of day in the state of MN, USA!!! Go dynamic duo rock it up!
utterly gorgeous pieces of art.
Beautifully crafted Ornaments indeed. The fact that they are musical instruments is a bonus ;)
Thanks for this. They sound great.
Works of art . . . and you make music with them!
The tone on the first bit, from The Captain was just... beautiful...
I'll never be able to afford this kind of guitar in my life, but thanks for sharing their glory with us.
Yeah! 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻 You gotta make a proper song with that lick as the main riff. Call it "Cap's lick" or something. Love it man! You should be proud of that lick, Lee. It's instantly recognisable as YOUR lick. How many players can say that? Own it, it's iconic. 💪🏻
@16:21 "Those crazy nights, I do remember in my youth I do recall, those were the best times, most of all In the heat with a blue jean girl Burnin'". Well played Captain.... Well played...
Ha, the curve on the top of Pete's headstock and the lighbulb line up wondrously, heavenly, beauteously...
Some of the Finest I’ve Seen 👍👍🎶🎶🎸
Love the videos guys! Stay safe, from your friends in Canada.
Glad you enjoyed the video... Thanks for tuning in! 🤘
Why what's up with Canadians?
Chris Dalby lol I’m canadian. Nothing wrong with us I just made a mistake with my grammar.
It looks spectacular especially when the dragon is designed by Jeff Easley. He's my all-time favourite fantasy artist, and I grew up playing D&D/D&AD. His artwork on the cover of the books is imaginative and beautifully painted. I think this is a fantastic collection for Jeff's fans and rightly so an art piece in itself.
Great sounding guitar. I love that sound
Nothing beats a Jackson!
Cheers from Portugal 🍺🤘
These have a real Daemoness Guitars vibe. Fretboard artful loveliness !
These tones are killer!
It's beautiful but the 2002 dragon will always be the first PRS I fell in love with. It's insane.
just beautiful!
Keep up the great work guys you are making quarantine tolerable at least ha
Glad you're enjoying the videos!
Drool!!!! Wow, they are beautiful!
I would NEVER cease to play one of these... (at home or studio, for sure... )
They are actually some of the best sounding guitars I've heard in a while.
That would make an awesome tattoo ! LOve you guys, stay well, stay safe.
Soooo beautiful!
They sound amazing!!!!
Pete could make a broom stick with a piece of string sound great . Beautiful clean tones on that dragon !!
More satisfying dragon episode than season 8 GoT...amirite? ;) Thanks for the unboxing vid, gentlemen!
The Captains orange tone cable really makes a huge difference to how much better his sounds. Better get on the blower to PRS.
Hey guys, you are holding a silverburst and black guitar with a freaking flame-throwing dragon on the fingerboard... of course the pickups are gonna´ be hot! 😂
Great video btw.
12:11 that was the first electric guitar riff I've ever heard (i was 3 years old, finding a Bryan Adams CD in my mom Drawers)
since then I've fallen in love with electric guitars!!!!!
The casual jam @ 5:30 ...👌🏼
Thought we would hide a cheeky Jam in the middle this time... 😉
It sure is beautiful, but I think all Paul's USA guitars are beautiful Pete your playing is impeccable
I love the look and sound of PRS guitars, never played one, but i believe they have wide profile necks....oops i have wee diddy sized hands, i get terrible wrist pain when i play a LP type guitar, not that i'm any good, but hey everyone loves a trier! Would like a just a standard PRS to add to the arsenal, but not top end. I might have another look at what the mighty Andertons have on offer. Beautiful playing guys always a joy.
you guys should make a trip to Kent Island where these are made...you will love the crabcakes and beer by the waterside!
been back here several times just for 13:27
I concur....these tones are Heaven!
@Jaxxon Jayson nobody cares
Just wonderful sounds! Can you imagine turning up at your local boozer to play Zeppelin for a stag do with one of those?
I'd probably get mugged if I played this guitar in my local boozer... besides I cannot pull off the dragon neck lol
@@mattstarf4294 Exactly. If you owned one of these you'd never take it to your local boozer for the night.
Will sit on some dentists wall, taken down for the occasional picture for reddit karma....
@@mattycee5412 Or a guitarist with money, which is a concept that some people seem to deeply resent.
Interesting collector type guitars. Thanks for sharing. Won't be replacing my Mexican strat with one of those anytime soon though. ;-)
Love u guys
Those guitars look and sound amazing! I want one sooooo freaking bad! That said, are you using the R1 Walrus Audio reverb pedal... ;)
Dragon PRS guitars always just remind me of the demand from the movie Airheads😂🤘🏼🐉
I'll never be able to afford one of these but, hell they sound amazing. I thought the graveyard 2 sounded good but, these are just perfect.
Just wanna say, thanks to your videos, it's really easy to pick what guitar should I buy the first time.
We're happy that our videos help you choose what guitar to buy next... Thanks for tuning in!
You do know there are cheaper ones than on this video? :-) 🐲
@@Songbirdstress well, i do say "videos", referring to all the other :"D. i just commented since i was really early, it was the chance to say it :"D
I couldn't relax with an expensive guitar such as these are. I can just imagine so many other guitarists wanting to grab it and thrash about on it !
Mr.Pete should make a solo record on this guitar. Wowwee superb sound.
Some of the best sounding guitars I've ever heard, but then I feel that way about most prs guitars, even the cheaper ones.
Can you guys do a video of the equipment/software you are using for recording these videos?
Even Ben Crowe is impressed by that inlay.
not a big PRS fan but holy, are these stunning
Okay. Now that we know where to get an unbelievable dragon guitar, could you guys do a video on where to get the money for one?
WOW NIIICCCEE!!
Ha! Love the Bryan Adams tune “it’s only love”
I am lucky enough to have a 30th Anniversary Vine Custom 22. It's an absolute work of art. Pretty much a case queen. But it's just flawless perfection.
Very good
13:27 the tones are Heaven! Omg!
Are they the ones you picked at the prs show? You chose the wood ? Looks awesome 👍😎
Beautiful guitar but man that 3 color sunburst strat at the back was such a distraction :D
I laughed too much at the "dragon's eye" moment...
15K WOW! Amazing guitars!
If I were a millionaire I would buy the one that that Lee has. That is the monalisa of guitars. Stay safe and well guys. Keep rocking. Signed John Zepbass.
These are incredible because they’re flashy but not cheesy. A hard thing to do!
Really? They are extremely cheesy... no denying they are good guitars, but they are proper full-on 80s cheese fest cheesy lol
Super cheesy
I’ve got £1500? 😐😂 love the channel man.
Have you guys ever review PRS Hollowbody ii? I think its a great guitar, specially the ones with piezo, it'd be great to hear your thoughts :))
Good morning, y'all! Keep safe!
They are missing really nice custom covers for the humbuckers. Something about uncovered humbuckers looks cheap on PRS and Gibsons to me.
so...$28000 australian pesos - nice playing as usual guys! and they do look fantastic
Listen with headphones when they jam together at 16.10. Mental!!!
You sound good together
My 2 most FAV guitars are pawn shop axes, $200 and $250, 1990 Charvel Fusions, Deluxe and Special, short scales:) Don't get no better, and no one makes anything like that today.
Gorgeous, but more importantly they sound incredible! PRS guitars can seem like they’re too pretty to be workhorse instruments at times, but they always deliver
Exquisite is the best word to describe these things of beauty ..... and they sound wonderful too!! As you say, they'll be bought by wealthy collectors and so may never actually be heard playing again. Even worse, they may end up in a vault, never seeing the light of day again either. Quite sad really ☹️ ☹️
Pete+that guitar is great
Holy moly!!!!
2:25 “Look at the serpent’s eye!!! 👁 ...sorry, Im fiddling with myself”
