Whoa.. this is so good! 😍 Right now, this feels like the consequential byproduct of a threesome between SG, MoS and Dune-- in the best way possible 😁👍 A lil' tip: try matching the framerate/shutter of the VFX, to that of the Plates (or vice versa). Speaking from experience, I guarantee you it's gonna iron out that jarring feel in the intercuts, tying the two realms more cohesively in the composite.

Firstly, consider using small fans to simulate the effect of wind blowing dust and leaves. This will add a realistic touch to your scenes. Additionally, if you have access to a DJI drone, you can modify it to resemble a space craft by using simple 3D molding. By incorporating green screen technology, you can create the illusion of a real space craft in your movie. Good luck with your project!

Well thought out practical effects greatly elevate-- or IMO even outshine-- the best digital effects. Either way, whether CG or Practical, "good" special effects are stunning (aliens in District 9), but "great" special effects are invisible (Tom Hanks plays TT at breakneck speed in Forest Gump); we ought to always wanna aim for the latter: it's the gold standard!
