    About Dune: Part Two:
The saga continues as award-winning filmmaker Denis Villeneuve embarks on “Dune: Part Two,” the next chapter of Frank Herbert’s celebrated novel Dune, with an expanded all-star international ensemble cast. The film, from Warner Bros. Pictures and Legendary Pictures, is the highly anticipated follow-up to 2021’s six-time Academy Award-winning “Dune.” “Dune: Part Two” will explore the mythic journey of Paul Atreides as he unites with Chani and the Fremen while on a warpath of revenge against the conspirators who destroyed his family. Facing a choice between the love of his life and the fate of the known universe, he endeavors to prevent a terrible future only he can foresee.

There is so much pain in this melody. I can feel it express the tragedy of Paul's family; the family that was on Caladan, and the family that is to come on Arrakis. When Paul and Chani kiss, it is not just a crucial moment for this movie but for the entire Universe, for it seals their fates, their children's fate, Paul's mother's and sister's fate, and all those that inhabit the Empire. It is a stolen kiss in a private moment, yet it resonates across the Empire and affects every person in it.

The main theme melody of Dune 2 that begins at 7:11 is borrowed from The Fifth Element Original Motion Picture Soundtrack written by Eric Serra. The Fifth Element cues from the great French composer Eric Serra which contain this signature 4-note melodic phrase are as follows: "Koolen", "Human Nature", "Mina Hinoo", "Leeloominai", "Protect Life", "Five Millenia Later". The Armenian Duduk is the featured signature melody instrument on The Fifth Element Original Motion Picture Soundtrack.

I love this track and feel like it encapsulates the journey of the entire film so breathlessly. Spoilers about how:
Thunderous sounds at the beginning are the echoing nightmares of being one of few survivors of the raid on his house. Paul and his mom are striking out on their own with a single pipe representing him.
With the low pipe tones they mournfully find some peace in and security with the Fremen in the aftermath of destruction. Yet they are isolated in the ever-present sand swirling around it all, guided by visions from the spice it contains.
Then the strings come in as Chani takes him in, harmonizing with the pipe as he becomes more emboldened and empowered. Together Chani and Paul thread this needle of tentative love and become stronger together.
The pipe is still mournfully searching and meandering in low tones, seeking a foothold and a way of redemption through the trauma.
Some vocals kick in, indicating the faith of the Fremen in him is growing as he gains trust. They share their wisdom and hope together as he learns their ways.
The strings, vocals, and pipe join together increasingly, coalescing around the pipe until many strings and voices surge together with the pipe’s rising intensity. His mom’s position as Reverend Mother and his growing influence among the Fremen synergize.
At the end, their combined powers grow so mighty and concentrated around Paul that it becomes a blaring echoing horn reaching out into the galaxy. It turns into a synthesizer, forming the future to come from the earlier instruments. Individuality blurs into a fanatic movement with Paul an echoing pipe in the center. Meanwhile the strings of Chani tenuously ring out from an increasing distance, maintaining true to herself, wrapped up around Paul but disillusioned in the the turn of the movement. The sounds of the sands stretch onward.
