    Well done guys! You make it look very easy! How much oil can your oil pan take? It must be more than 5 lt otherwise you had an overflow of nice black oil on your clean floor!
    😬🤭

    Any ideas how to undo a badly burred hex on cap. Do think i could drill the hex and use an eg. 1/4 inch rachet extension through the hex like a t-piece or is it molded hollow which would put drill shavings in the filter pot. I would think it to be a solid hex because hollow would collapse or twist under socket tension. 🏴‍☠🌤. Hello from down unda.

    What about the 10 minute rule, I read that truck might not be delivering oil as it should now

    Hi Guys.Thanks for the video. I have a BT50 2018. Did anyone noticed an oil filter by-pass valve in the oil filter housing. i have a weird sound coming in from the cap at cold start and will last for 15 minutes until engine gets hotter. Any clues will be appreciate. Thanks

      How long did you leave between emptying the oil and refilling the oil?

    Well done lads. I just did mine after watching this! I had googled this before, Google mentioned doing this within 10min. What do you think of the 10min rule?

      @waynesitarz424 4 года назад

      I think do the filter first,then dump the oil,fill then start within about 15 minutes. No need to do a long drain to get every bit of old oil out.

      Not every time but if you leave a Ranger engine without oil for longer than ten minutes you DO run the risk of the oil pick up running dry, it will never correctly refill again and the engine will have catastrophic failure, it is the one car we have strict rules on having everything ready prior to draining the oil!!!

    so how much did you put in after rechecking the oil level? is it 7.5 litres still? because i'm not gonna drown my engine if 7.5 litres is enough.

    • @animal79thecat
      @animal79thecat 4 года назад +1

      Ive got this pick-up and 7 litres is enough...trust me! (2.2)

      animal79thecat is 7L definitely right, I changed mine but I’m sure it’s over filled but it’s hard to tell on the dipstick they’re useless on the ranger.

      7 liter w/o oil fiter change... 7.5 liter if you also replace new oil filter for model 2.2 liter maybe 3.2 liter use more quantity of engine oil
