Another wonderful video showing the true beauty and magic of Japan, with our Angela on top form, thank you always for your hard work, enthusiasm and the love of what you do, ganbarimashitane!!....can't wait for part ...
Missed these videos! I love how you document most the every day life and simple things instead of the touristy places! :) By the way, am soooo jealous of that yuzu tree! It was impressive! :O Keep it up Angela!
Thanks Adeline! It's just what interests me the most and my way of traveling haha but glad you like it! :) As for the yuzu tree... I'm more curious as to why they put the yuzus on the stair case like that! Was it for decoration, or something else?? hmmm
I love your videos. I’ve been planning my trip for over a year but just have to wait. :( My secret wish is to run into you in Japan and get a chance to say hi. Keep these up ... really enjoy them!
I missed these videos :) they help fill the hole that having to cancel my trip last year made. Praying that everything goes back to normal and tourism reopens early next year :)
this was so lovely! i also enjoy just wandering around different places and observing every day life. i can't wait until we can all visit safely again~
I see I am not alone in saying , I am sooo sooo pleased to see you have returned with your beautiful take on life in Japan,... the だるまさんがころんだ scene ,...although only 2 seconds long,... brought tears to my eyes & warmed my heart. Kudos.
@@internationallyME Yep,... and my daughter playing with Japanese kids , looking for frogs in the drains beside rice fields , catching bugs with long nets ,.... oh so long ago now. We are counting the days till we can return. All the best.
What a refreshing video to keep the pandemic vibes at bay. I love how you appreciate the little things that a lot of people could easily miss. We keep looking at the sky but its the small things on the ground that make for wonderful and meaningful experiences. Cheers! Sending you love and goodvibes from Manila, Philippines!
Have always been a fan of your videos back then. Please do more travel videos in japan and the hidden gem like this. Love it. My travel itinerary in japan was based on your videos as well.
Hi Angela, finally i could watch more of your video. Your travel vlog really helps me a lot as a guide when i was visiting Japan. Wish you stay healthy and happy :) Looking forward for your next video.
I am always happy to see a new post from you! Your vlog was a great help when I booked my trip to Japan (July 2019). Your's was the first Japan RUclips channel I subbed to. Thanks Angela!
Always like your content Angela. I've been in Japan twice and at those time I visited popular tourist spot in different cities. On my third time I want to spend more time on small cities or town like this one. As always I will use this and your past videos as my reference. I will probably concentrate on Aomori and its neighboring prefecture and spend little time in Tokyo area. Covid jeopardize everybody's travel plan and i hope everything will be better next year. Cheers!
When I was at Camp Zama my senior class went to Odowara and spent the weekend at the beach. It was great. Didn't get to see the city but I've always wanted to go back and visit. Thank you for showing the sites, really enjoyed your video! Aloha from Hawaii!
I share the same view on traveling around local communities. on my trips I love to just walk around and find spots that mean something on a personal level. I really hope you do a video on Kameoka just west of Kyoto, its filled with so many little gems and its great to bike around, I've been 3 times there now and every time is great. I always stay at the Sumiya kihoan ryokan and its so peaceful. especially walking up and down the mountain at night!
We did pass by Odawara few years back before going to Hakone as a side trip. Now I know I should alot a day or two, and see the place on foot (or a bike) :)
Glad to see you post again, Angela. If I'm not mistaken I think John Daub visited your school in his video a few weeks ago. I wish I can visit it too one day.
Oh my goodness! I was just here at the tunnel that leads to the beach iN Odawara and at the Castle on Sunday, Feb.14th with my friend Bridget. I saw a man catching fish and watched kids actually in the water playing. I loved it! I do NEED to make it back to the Odawara Castle to see the Ninja and Samurai Museum! We didn't have a lot of time to spend at the castle, unfortunately.
Beautiful! Thanks for showing us some of Odawara...now I wish I hadn’t rushed through on my way to Hakone!😉maybe next time...hopefully this year 🤞keep up the great work and stay safe 💜
I love going to off the beaten path places. I got lost on my way to the sand bath from train station in Ibusuki Kagoshima. I manage to speak in Japanese to a friendly local there to get directions. Can't wait to go back. Thank you for sharing. Keep up great work. J from Canada.
Good to see you back. I'm inspired to travel to Japan again to visit non-tourism places you suggest. Some time after the post pandemic Olympics I guess. Keep up the good work!
I've been to Odawara before but I've only explored around the castle park area. Thank you for the video. Next time I go back I'll be sure to check out those other places!🤗
I really missed your videos. I visited Mt. Mitoku because of your video in the past. I will go to japan this year again and im glad to hear tips from you!
Welcome back. I love Hakone, it's so pretty but I've never been to Odawara, I'd definitely like to though (when I'm able to visit Japan again). The castle looks pretty cool.
Have visited Japan in September 2019. Loved it so much. But I think traveling w you would also be fun because you look closely at local attractions & try to learn the culture. Be well & safe in your travels. 😃
We miss Japan. We miss you. I wanted to go with you to the grocery and eat dinner 😩. But one of the things I want to do in Japan is to ride a bicycle in a city. Looking forward for part 2! Keep safe!
Great video! The air in Tokyo is getting a little yuck this time of the year... not only is it too dry, but also the pollen is starting. Not fun. Anyways, great to see you active again!
As someone who lived in a not-so-urban part of Japan, I have to say, those 'random' walks are some of the most peaceful and satisfying activities I did.
Hope you enjoyed traveling with me (virtually) haha! See you next week for part 2!
❤️❤️❤️
Love it..
