Masters of the Universe Tent Rebuild

So the local Toyshop found a near mint Masters of the Universe Tent from the 80's, well he found the outside skin, but it was missing the entire frame. After a short search on the internet we found out that the frame was made from unobtainium...so we decided I should make it. After some quick 3d modeling, and a determination that no matter how inventive I was, there was no good and quick way to bend 3/8" wooden dowel rods we made a new frame. i have place all of the models for the dowel rod connectors on my thingiverse page for download, I have made a few more connectors to make peaks instead of the rounded top like in the he man tent in the video. I decided that even though I fell in love with the tent I just did not have room to keep it, and since my Mattel Creation Eternia playlet was delivering soon I had to cut back...so while I was sad to see it go, the tent did sell quickly and went to a good home. if you would like to follow Aaron or visit his store when in town please see the link below:
