Freddie wasn't sick with HIV until 1987, 9 years after this. He did have nodules on his vocal chords which gave him problems sometimes. Please take the movie as entertainment, not a factual documentary. Freddie was wonderful in his early years as well. Liar, and Stone Cold Crazy 1974 Live at the Rainbow are worthy of review, as is 1975 White Queen Live at Hammersmith Odeon, both were televised BBC performances. More Queen please.mThank you for sharing this one. Well done!
Thanks, Schuyler - what a fun song! appreciate your reaction (and as mentioned below, at one time this song was voted "happiest ever".. lol).. nope... he don't want to stop at all...
Here are some more to react to: Somebody to Love, live at Montreal. Different than the studio and their best performance besides Live Aid. White Queen live at Hammersmith Odeon 1975. Under Pressure live at Wembley 1986.
This song takes me to my happy place, it is a mood elevator. Whenever I need an attitude adjustment, I listen to this and my outlook becomes much brighter. Freddie was very focused. He knew what he wanted and he was going for it, nobody could get in his way. Freddie was a rock star before he ever became one, he had a vision and he lived in it. Finding Brian and Roger and joining them was what he saw as the best direction to his goal. When they found John (bass) all of the energies aligned and there was no stopping any of them. Thank you for your reaction, I hope you enjoyed this song as much as I always do.
This song was scientifically proven to be the world’s most encouraging song.
Not only is he singing and playing the piano at the same time, he's doing it with One hand. Super cool!
Yes the Carlton dance. Now I can't unsee that. I love this song in Shawn of the dead . It was hilarious.
And coincidentally it was in the bar😅
