Unfortunately, it was always going to happen. I can remember doing a project on population changes in secondary school in the 90s. Pretty much every, majority white, western European country, if left to it's own devices, would shrink in population. We are pretty much making ourselves extinct!
Once people become educated and enjoy a certain standard of living, they generally have less kids. That's what was happening and has happened to European white people.

@@bereal6590 I'm sorry, where do I confuse white British with religion? I mention that the people coming to live here have a variety of religions, as well as ethnicities and cultures. By the way, as of the 2021 census the WB population of the UK is just under 75%. Of course, that's not evenly distributed. large areas of the country are over 90%, however, big parts of major cities have WB populations of less than 50%. Two London Boroughs are under 20%, none are over 70%.

Religion shouldn't come into it it's inflammatory. Percentages I can understand and yea certain areas have high proportions. @@1daveyp so true this has been going on for a long time, after our young men were lost in WW2 the natives were invited to help rebuild to drive trains bus trucks etc places like Southall , and Hounslow were displacing the locals or at least filling the vacant homes . I also moved south, and found many others on my travels whilst working, that had moved away to the coast , and now some 40 years later I feel it's unsafe to go out at night ,unless you have a steel plate covering your back and front , they all speak multiple languages , not at the same time . but yes we will soon be the minority voters and have little say in anything, this country will never be the same ever , Croydon riots a few years back, burnt down shops looting , and not the first time.

The neighbourhood I grew up in is now 2.7% WB, yup, not a typo, 2 point 7%, fewer than three people in every hundred in an area of some thousands living in a couple of dozen streets.

Albanians: I was talking with some relatives recently and they came up. Some of my extended family lives in the South West and they have an Albanian couple living in in social housing on their street. Apparently it became common knowledge that this couple also has a holiday home back in Albania.
In the FT a few weeks ago there was a report about one village where something like 70% of the male population had left, mainy for the U.K. They interviewed one man who had remained; he had relatives in London who worked as electricians & a bus driver. He stayed behind and worked as a house sitter looking after those relatives' properties.
Presumably all those Albanians I've just mentioned have fled war & persecution back in Albania, but apparently aren't so fearfull & persecuted that they can't have holiday residences back home.

When people started to say Holiday [Holiday Tree, lights, cards etc] instead of Christmas, it looked as if we were no longer Christians. How many people didn't like to admit to being Christians because it might offend someone of a differect religion? Probably we are not truly a minority. Part of the problem is the name of our country “the United Kingdom” or “UK”. It’s a sort of catch all term which immigrants don’t see as having any specific cultural or ethnic attachment. We need to start referring to our nation as England or, at the very least, Britain.

What is often forgotten is the way that schools have chosen to promote other religions & festivals, whilst downplaying Christian traditions. If children are taught more about Diwali than Easter what do we expect? I have so many happy memories of religious lessons at school in the 60's & 70's & even though I'm not a "practising" Christian, these lessons will never leave me. Similarly, what is being taught in school now will never leave them - more's the pity. We have no reason to apologise & be inclusive to the degree we exclude the traditions of this once great nation.

Gurkha's are not only the most expensive troops in the British army, they are very poor troops, best kept secret in the UK military. We are all living on our laurels to some degree but I was very surprised at how poor they were when I served with them. When your citizens can't be bothered to join your armed forces, you are about to fall, as Rome did.

I am not personally interested in following any religion. However, I do appreciate the enormous contribution that Christianity has made to both our culture and our values in this country. Those who see no problem in the increasing numbers of practising Muslims here in Britain are obviously blind, or choose to ignore, the threat to said culture and values, both hard won, which such an influx must present. And i reference the Islamic religion, as opposed to any other, simply because it is a faith which is intrinsically mixed up with politics. What happens when the numbers are such that they start to influence our way of life, although it might be suggested that we have already watered down our norms in order to accommodate them. Increasingly, they have a presence in our political establishment, while a number of local Councils in various parts of the country are filled with those who are Muslim. Iran use to be a very western country, there are pictures taken in the 60's of women wearing mini skirts etc. Afghanistan was fairly liberal before the Taliban. One big issue is the elephant in the room. A lot of the UK has faced massive change in finances. The locals are being bled dry, industry has collapsed & social gatherings in pubs as they all close. Who wants to go to church when many have 2 or more jobs to make ends meet. Stress levels are through the roof & the population replacement is in no way working out.
It will be interesting to know the ethnic breakdown of England alone but the census figures are for England and Wales together.

I’ve heard teachers who’ve been teaching for 20/30 years have witnessed classes being 100% English to now small minority English.
My religious beliefs or lack of them are complicated, I’m agnostic to some degree and an atheist to some what less degree even though I absolutely love Dawkins and the late great Christopher Hitchens I always thought his atheism was a bit too militant. However on the census I put down that I was/am a Christian for the basic reason that I want us the uk to see ourselves and identity as a Christian country.
I believe even hitchens saw the great value of christianity. Hitchens was a great orator and writer but he wasnt clever enough to outwit great christian thinkers like Dr Lennox. His brother Peter is well worth a listen and a read, he gives you the other side of the coin. He literally explains why christopher had to adopt the atheist position he did, because it in an intrinsic position to left liberal ideology.

The West as it is today is virtually completely the product of Christianity, specifically the Catholic Church. This is all outlined in "Dominion", the splendid history book by the Oxford historian, Tom Holland.

Just today in the i newspaper there was an article suggesting it wouldn't be a bad idea to abolish Christmas as the recent census showed most people weren't Christians anyway.

i am an atheist, have been since the age of 11, however i identify and share a set of values that come out of Christianity, and i too find the degradation of Christianity in our country to be very grave news. The western world is predominantly based on Christianity with secular government. If Christianity is lost, what every replaces it will most likely be a theocracy, and it will not be based on Christianity! This battle is therefore not confined to just Christianity, it is for our liberalism and our freedom.

Bringing in guitars will not toughen up Christianity. A church organ does. As do church bells. No religion can compete with Islam because Islam does not recognise any other religion. All non-Muslims are classified as 'non-believers' and must be either converted ot eradicated.
