That 'little bit of luck' part is most known in the UK as a garage song called 'Little Bit of Luck' by DJ Luck and MC Neat in like 1999 or 2000. But you're right, Bugzy did re-use it in 2017 for 'Through The Night' :)

As a band they never miss, every cover has their own flavour with sound design and the originals all slap. "Wade in the water/Nina Simone/ Trouble so hard" is my fav, it's pure soul and blues.

I think Dave is an ok musician. With a little bit of practice he might make an album that makes number 1. Also their rendition of War Pigs from the same gig (yes im calling it a gig because that is what it is) is one to watch too.

Honestly, my favorite video on RUclips. Everything in it is a vibe, and I dig that vibe, whatever it is. Love the feeling expressed through the guitar, both Ren and Romain. The live, free music everyone is clearly enjoying. Everything you’re looking for all wrapped up in a bow. So damn good. My other favorite is the Wade in the Water/Nina Simone/Trouble so Hard Big Push mashup. That’s fire too🔥

Thank you so much for reacting to this, Knox! Like many others (who try not to miss anyone reacting to this amazing performance), I was missing and waiting for your take on this. Your obvious joy and familiarity and participation was so much fun, that I watched it twice in a row! (OK, even more than that...!). Please do react to more of The Big Push; both their originals (all good; my personal favorite “It’s Alright”, which contrasts nicely with Ren’s older classic beauty “It’s Alright”) and their covers. A lot of reactors continue that same legendary “red suspenders” busking session with War Pigs (ending is just “chef’s kiss” relevant today) and Paint it Black and Watch Out. Swan Song is amazing and different... you get the drift! ;)

One of the many things I admire about Ren is that he's responsible for me meeting The Big Push. Their catalogue is so deep and wide, the musicianship of all the members is off the chain, and the musical chemistry between them makes it all work. I have been dying to say this and it might rub some people the wrong way but, this is coming from a place of love and positivity so, please keep that in mind.
I have watched this performance about a hundred times and my absolute favorite part is something that I haven't seen anyone mention. Ren is singing Bob Marley. The crowd is mostly white faces, and Romain found that one beautiful Jamaican woman in the front of the crowd and kneeled before her while he played a Bob Marley song. It is so stunning and beautiful and perfect and it gets me every single time. I see you, Romain Axisa! +1000 Rizz, as my son would say.
I think nobody talks about it because they're afraid of it turning into a conversation about race and I totally understand that, as an American, in the current situation. But, I don't think it's wrong or inappropriate to shine a light on Romain acknowledging that he is a white man playing this song that we would not have without Jamaicans and Bob Marley. This is the appropriate way to acknowledge that you are aware of what you are doing and you pay respect to where you got it. It's such a perfect example of how to be humble and honorable while using something that came from another culture to your benefit. I've just always felt so moved when I see it and I don't feel like Romain is given enough flowers for such a beautiful gesture. 💐

Yes - I think Ren messed up (sorry, switched up) the lyrics at the end of Hip Hop and you’re the only reactor (that I’ve seen) who’s picked up on this. It’s not an issue at all, of course, and takes nothing away from this magnificent mash-up of covers, but I can let my mind be at peace now knowing that if Knox Hill says they’re switched up, then I can stop doubting myself!

Exactly, this is the kind of performance or band I wanna go and see. I wanna here their musicality and ability to strip it back, do guitar solos/intros or whatever and build the song up, and then go ham at some points, they took us on such a sick ride, Reggae, ska, jazzy, drumbnbass, hip-hop. Love it!!!!

Absolutely love how they combine the original Bob Marley reggae feel with the bluesy guitar tones from the cover that Clapton did too, absolute musical geniuses 🙂

It's Alright is my favorite Big Push song but is completely different than most their other music.
Every time i watch your videos in getting your song stuck in my head for the day🥺 its so good. I was pulling out Christmas ornaments my grandma made for me n my kids before she died (coming on 2 years ago in less than a month) and it popped in my head and it was sickly sweet. Its so perfect for love and loss.
