I’ve always loved pearls. I’m not particularly careful with them, aside from not washing my hands with them on, but I haven’t broken or damaged any and my longest held item is a ring.

So much I learned with this video! Had never heard of Alexandrite before, but it sounds like a beautiful stone. Now I know why I was never attacked by dragons when I was younger! I had so many pieces of pearl jewelry, specially after I turned 15. It’s popular gift for a 15 year old I guess because on my birthday I got several pieces from different people.
Alexandrite is a lot of fun! Maybe it is our penchant for gifting girls and young women pearls that has diminished the dragon population. xoxo

How very interesting. I would love to own an alexandrite but that will be something I’ll definitely try and save for. Now I do have a few pearls and Rea love them. First time I’m hearing of the moonstone and think it’s lovely if I could see my future by holding it on my tongue during a full moon.
Pearls are alway lovely. Alexandrites are special, but they can be very pricy. I've never tried the tongue thing with a moonstone. Please report back if you try it!! xoxo

Very interesting. My mother was born in June, so I bought her a synthetic alexandrite pendant. It did color-change, but not in a striking way. My birthstone is ruby, which does not excite me because I don't really like red and never wear it. Aquamarine and peridot are more my taste, so I wear peridot which is my husband's birthstone. However, I would love to see an episode on rubies - maybe there's something about them that would make me happier about my birthstone.
I will definitely be doing a video at the beginning of July which will talk about rubies. Hopefully there will be something there that inspires you. Wearing loved ones birthstones is also a great idea! xoxo

Why do June babies get three choices while the rest of us only get one?!! hahaha If I were a June baby and fortunate enough to get three I would choose Pearl, also I was once married to a dragon and that would have helped me out a lot back in the day ha...but since I am just a May baby I will have to stick with what I get!! Both my father and younger sister were born in June. The 14th my sister and the 22nd my dad. Our mother and I came up with the idea that I should have a bracelet bearing our family's birthstones. For her's she preferred the amethyst. Mine is presented as peridot. Dad and sis are both alexandrite. Personally I came up with the idea every June baby born from the 1st through the 12th are pearls.

I've always felt that pearl doesn't suit my personality despite being a June baby... even though I do think they're pretty. Until I knew about alexandrite. I fell in love 😍 Moonstone is my second favourite 💙

Amethyst is the birthstone for February, but when it comes to jewelry my feeling is that you can wear whatever you would like. xoxo

Why do some months have one birthstone and others like June have 3 birthstones?
I have a video that addresses this which I will link here. The short answer is that the original birthstones from the bible were unclear. A standard set with one stone each was established in the 20th century.
