Is it okay to wear pink spinel if you’re an august baby? I found a GORGEOUS pink spinel ring that I want sooo badly! but I’m not sure if the red shade of spinel is (specifically and only) for August... I usually see the red spinel or peridot when looking up jewelry which is fine, but I’m a girl who loves pink! Lol so I guess my question is, does the shade of spinel matter when picking out your August birthstone jewelry? are we only limited to the red shade?
How come there are more than one birthstones for some months and not for every month? I’m a May baby and the only birthstone I’ve heard about for May is Emerald.
Emerald is the only one for May. Some of the birthstones became hard to get or very expensive so others were added. Sometimes companies like Tiffany and Company in the case of tanzanite petitioned to have their stones added.
