The show is over after 5 seasons + a movie + su future. I suggest not diving into any Steven Universe related content until you've finished the show. Also the scene of garnet getting mad and sitting down is also a reference to the keystone motel episode were she gets mad and sits of the bed then infused she usually sits and meditates
I think finishing the side neutral with the uppercut is a reference to attack the light. the way steven uses his bubble is also like in attack the light
Garnets electric shock down special thing was also in the show at some point and there’s like 2 episodes where she throws her gauntlets side special. Her up special thing was in the show at one point too, I believe in the wedding episode
I've seen how they came up with the iron giants attacks, and special from the movie. My personal favorite was when he went into defensive mode (Protect a Friend)
probably a bit out of character for her to straight up poof like that because she got defeated by a bunny, when all the other characters are just kinda mad. the new animation shows how she deals with stress better.
