I miss living in Japan, compared to America, the people are so respectful. No loud and obnoxious people. Trains always are pleasant. But the food is so good! I miss it so much! I've never found a ramen shop anywhere close to the real deal in Japan!
@greatmusic142 I wasn't a tourist, I lived there for 2+ years. Actually, there is a whole lot of trash in their Bays, constantly I've actually helped clean their Bays. I can tell you've never been there by your nonsense comment.
@@bennettdavid904 u still didnt answer my question bro, i doubt ur actually who u say were, otherwise u wouldnt get offended by calling my question "nonsense"
3:26 By the way "chuuka soba" just means "Chinese style soba". There are a lot of dishes in Japan that are called "chuuka" because they take Chinese influences, or are just straight up Chinese food ("chuuka ryouri").
you should try making a video regarding ramen jiro..it is one of the type of ramen that not a lot of foreigners know but has achieved a cult status for most japanese...mostly male college students and young workers...
Ramen is definitely the best food ever invented. No other food in the world can be served in a restaurant where the restaurant can still be successful despite opening only for a few hours a day, serving only that kind of ramen.
For the first ramen, he says "sweetness and saltiness" not "sweetness and sourness" Pronunciation of "Momofulu Ando" is "an-dough" not "andew" Chanko is not ramen.
Imagine having a restaurant so successful, you only have to be open 2 1/2 hours a day. Crazy
That's not the case.
They said that the broth alone took 15 hours to cook.
@@yudalibrata3786 They only do business for 2 1/2 hours, the rest is prep. You're arguing semantics.
bnenomore And you aren’t?
High quality, low supply and high demand
It's usual things in asia
Imagine travel across Japan and the store is close.
I'll wait
@@nabeelfarihuzzaman2373 yea you would...
Nice, it's just a short walk then lol

You would have to try Konbu cha native to Rishiri then

Same.
Also Ando's first use of the instant noodles was during a distaster and the noodles can last 3 years in storage.
_If you don't mind, I'm just going to eat this instant noodles I bought_

Ramen Flavor👌😄
@@tarudasu lol
Ill starve instead of buying the cup noodles and use the money i saved and buy ramen

Don't cry! There's so much history in what you're eating!
**sobbing sniffing teary eyes**
Lemme have some
I wish I could make friends with people on RUclips. Some of you guys understand me on a spiritual level just with the humor.

"Anduu" instead of Ando triggered me lmao
forreal. I wanted to punch the voice lol.
as a Japanese person, same.. I was like “they changed his name” 😭

I love Japan, my favorite islands are Hokkaido and Okinawa. So beautiful
Japan has got the best stuff
First thing I'm buying when I visit japan
have fun and enjoy, friend.
2nd thing i bought last time I went to Japan (first was a bottle of Calpis)
That's definitely me when I'm eating noodles across Japan
"noodle accross japan" sounds like some guy name broad would do a cheap expensive series of bringing a set of noodles accross southern japan
No overflowing of processed ingredients., makes an excellent dish.
I want to try them all!!!!
Great video and thank you for sharing this gems! Much much love from Italy
everything we slurp down is a little piece of history
Everything we do is a little piece of history.
That black ramen guy looks like an anime side character
I don't know who this "Undo" guy is that invented instant ramen but he stole Ando's idea.
makes me wanna travel to a mall to eat Miso ramen
What mall has miso ramen? That sounds amazing!!
@@thehistoryandbooknerd8979 alot of Malls have Japanese Restaurant inside of it. Dude do u know what a mall is?
Throwing my instant noodle cup away in rage and buying my plane ticket!

I wish there was less music and awkward commentary when consuming the ramen

Was the first place referenced in Agretsuko?

Could u add the address of the restaurant pls ? Thanks
Why am I watching this at night and torturing myself with food crave?

Why am I watching this at 01:00AM?
Why is chanko nabe in the ramen video? I thought it was basically hot pot?
I need to stop watching videos about food at night ~D:

This is awesome
Make video about Korean Noodles please
Isn't it a re-upload!?
I’m glad you focused on Japanese noodles. ^_^
Any other noodle is irrelvant

Oh, Come on.
“Eating noodles across Japan” and just focusing on Ramen 🍜 and Chanko ???
That’s absurd!
Calm down with the question marks. It's a Ramen video not a noodle video.

The title says “Eating *Noodles* across Japan”
So this video is a noodle video
They changed the title lol.
With COVID are these guys open 5 mins now?

It was uploaded a while ago... Don't fret
This is a mashup of the 2-3 minute videos they upload often. They're pulling a BuzzFeed move.
Oh shoot the first place has a Michelin Star
~looks at where Toyama is~ west is the new east I guess?
I've had the black ramen in Toyama. It was as salty as it looked, I could barely take another sip after the first, and had to abandon the bowl :(
Chanko nabe isn't ramen
I love japan like if you agree
I love how Japan has better food than the US
Burgers and New York pizza are pretty good
That last one doesn't looks like conventional noodles
No soba? No udon? There is so much more to cover.

Japan: 15 hours to make
America: 10 minutes 😪
15 hrs is to boil the meat for the soup
,making noodles is quick.
I always wonder what would happen if they run out of broth
They always have enough. And in any case you can prep new ones while you're using up the other.
2 hours?!!!!
