Wow, how fascinating!! I loved to follow the evolution of this painting. Before and after... and how beautiful it changed ! Like a caterpillar who turned to an butterfly 😊 please more of this art ❤ thanks a lot
Pat, this is special. Thank you. I am imagining you as a wee girl, sewing in your basement to avoid the heat, and I’m smiling! I’m sitting here drinking my morning coffee, thinking what a lovely way this is to start my day. Thank you.
Thanks Jennifer! I did a lot of sewing-started out with simple aprons, tea towels, and then onto Barbie clothes and later clothes for me and my family. Wish I had more time to sew now.

I’m really interested in how you often use about quarter sky and three quarters land Patt. Makes room for for a lot of interest and play with the land.
Loved this! Please do more cold wax paintings.
More to come!

@@diegrid8279 Thanks for your lovely comment! I will post more like this in the future.
That is beautiful Patt! Soft blues are a nice contrast to the brighter foreground.
Thanks Jen! It went off to a new home too!
@@pattscrivenerartist beauty!

I like to exaggerate the rule about thirds. I sometimes do it the other way around depending on what the painting is about.
