    Pat, this is special. Thank you. I am imagining you as a wee girl, sewing in your basement to avoid the heat, and I’m smiling! I’m sitting here drinking my morning coffee, thinking what a lovely way this is to start my day. Thank you.

      Thanks Jennifer! I did a lot of sewing-started out with simple aprons, tea towels, and then onto Barbie clothes and later clothes for me and my family. Wish I had more time to sew now.

    That is beautiful Patt! Soft blues are a nice contrast to the brighter foreground.

    I’m really interested in how you often use about quarter sky and three quarters land Patt. Makes room for for a lot of interest and play with the land.

      I like to exaggerate the rule about thirds. I sometimes do it the other way around depending on what the painting is about.
