This has become my favorite Voiceplay video. Its so beautiful and emotional. Perfect timing for the eclipse too. By the way.... You look awesome in those glasses. They really fit you so well.
I think the difference between Voiceplay and other offerings is that the members of Voiceplay immerse themselves into the music/words. It becomes a total performance and they FEEL the music and the message of the words Thanks for your reaction. Great as always .
I enjoyed your reaction greatly, as usual. Your eyes light up when they do something spectacular, and I enjoy you enjoying them, so to speak. Double the pleasure ...😊🙃
As this is one of my faves I was dreading it a cappella, even with the fabulous VoicePlay. But they exceeded expectations as usual. Loved your reaction. This is f'ing amazing! Thank you for a really great reaction.❤❤❤❤❤❤
Interesting fact about the original: it was done in the key of G minor and then sped up very slightly in post-production... this nearly imperceptible speed-up pushed it to almost the key of G# (just slightly below G#, actually). Voiceplay decided to keep it close to the original in that regard and recorded it in G# minor.
Interesting information: Eli (with an assist from Layne) provided the arrangement. He also created the graphics in the background and built (with help from his wife and sister-in-law) the wall behind the group, and assembled/found the other set pieces. He directed the video as well. This was shot at Vu Studio Orlando, the same place as Valhalla Calling, but this time they had working air conditioning.
I just love how they tackle really difficult stuff and just pull it off... love VP. Thank you for this - nice observation on the emotional delivery... 🌹🕊
I saw it as soon as it dropped - had never heard this but it is truly amazing with its complex arrangement, the bass guitar sounds, Layne's beatboxing. I loved Cesar's opening (it echoed the sadness that you mentioned), Anthony and his riffs, and Lord, Eli is finding higher flights. The backgrounds, costumes, cyber tats. So fine.
It's a fully immersive video. Sonically and visually. There's a special delight when VoicePlay drops a new video or short because you don't know what it will be other than great.
I'm old, didn't now the song. Voiceplay is the best, this was wonderful. I love the outro, it's the karaoke version they do for Patreon. Without the melody, the harmonies and beatboxing are even more amaizng!!!
Well, Voiceplay proved with We Don't Talk About Bruno live that they can produce with IR without the dubs, etc. ...so I think they are wonderful ANY way at all, lol
Just a creative choice. I have heard VoicePlay live without all the studio tricks... they do VERY well without a net, so to speak. They have plenty of recorded music, too, without effects.

Vp is superior at making the feel of the song match the lyrics and making you feel all the feels.

The magic of VoicePlay ... they respect the original but make it their own! Always love your reactions! Thank you!

It's great, but not without production and overdubs.

@@johndeeregreen4592. I’m going to second you. It was a live performance that made me a patreon after a few months of watching their vids.
