Totally enjoyed the build video. Extraordinary skills and attention to detail. Very inspiring!
holy shit batman, to hell w/ the build, that awesome music should become our national anthem. Yeah, forget the toys, lets dance naked @ woodstock!
It's a great project,and with a lot of detail.Many thanks for sharing!
That is a sweet looking Corsair! And thanks for playing great Music as well.
America is one of my favorite bands.
Thanks, Yes Love that band
Great engine and baffle install...👍
Excellent build !! and enjoyable music for a change Love America!!
LA City Limits was a plane flown by Chico Freeman, I believe of VF-17. VF-17 was "the Jolly Rogers" and the flew the skull and crossbones on the cowl. You have skull and bones on the tail, it just needs to move to the cowl. I realize your plane, your way. I lack the experience and talent, you obviously have. Beautiful F4U Corsair.
Hi mate, what a fantastic build, really enjoyed looked at your techniques and the time you take to route cables, i have learned heaps from this! tks.
Really enjoy the extra touches you put in. Great work
What a beautiful job you've done.
Thanks for sharing ~ "Whistling Death"
Nice job! Real scala airplane
I have that exact same clock. Nice clean build!
Very nice construction!!!! lovely idle sound
Beautiful job!
Looking great Matt!
awesome Corsair! waiting for the maiden! roger
I was on the fence with this one for a long time. Was not able to makeup my mind between the H9 and the TF Corsair. Watching you build the TF ARF with the choice of FG60 has given me the courage to take the plunge. I just placed my order with Tower. I can’t wait to see your maiden. I hope it will fly and sound as good as the TF P47 did with the FG60. Good luck on your maiden!
Thanks for the nice comments. Glad i was able to help you with your choice in some small way.
I'm pretty sure you made the right choice, Top Flite planes are well made and fly just fine right out of the box.
And by that i mean, no major retrofitting of parts to get
things square and true. I've built, many stick planes in my day, which is fun and gratifying for sure when you have the time. But these ARF's are just getting better and better.
And Top Flite has always been at the top of their game.
Many say with these ARF's. They are not built but , they are assembled.
( which i don't agree with) Many hours are put into these ARFs. If you take as much pride on the inside build, as the manufacturer took on the outside build.
You will have many years of enjoyment with you purchase.
I've seen way to many planes go to their death , and only to be blamed on a glitch or a part failure. Never on the person building it.
And i mean multi year projects and ARF's as well
Remember, These are not toys, They are 20, 30, 40 pound flying machines, and you are only putting your fellow modelers and yourself and bystanders at risk by not
doing your due diligence.
Take your time, Check things over three times if you feel the need, And never be intimidated to do your maiden until your 110% ready.
Top Flite gives you the best bang for the Buck for sure. And Satio make a wonderful product as well, as long as you play by their rules. Break in and oil content etc, etc.
Best of luck with yours. and i will be waiting for your maiden as well. Have a Safe and Great 2018 flying season.
Very nice!!
Holy rich guy batman! You on Long Island? I would love to do the exact same build one of these days, but I'm gonna try the Phoenix 20cc Corsair. You did a hell of a build job on this one man!
What awesome detail!!!! You're a true Craftsman. Especially impressed with the animated aviator. Needs a three blade prop. Just sayin
It's got a three blade prop. Have a look at 3:18..............Doh.
Oops! I missed that. So it does. My bad!
VERY cool aircraft, full of details, but I gotta ask. Given the depth of all of the other fiddly bits, Articulating the pilot head, full cockpit detail, retractable tail gear etc, why no panel lines and rivets? Or did you have enough of the small details at that point? Seems with the depth of detail on this model you would included them, although they ARE a whole lotta work. ;)
Nice..... real nice!!!
So, Where do you park your cars? Awesome build. !!!!
Beautiful. Does it still exist? I hope it has not crashed.
Yay
I really want one!!! I love the details you put into the plastic engine part. How long did it take you to build?
Built it over the winter with a few other projects. I never really keep track. If I would have to guess, I would say the entire building was between 30 to 40 hours.
Beautiful plane, great build. Now let's talk about music....
and video editing...
Hi knockoffs, Did you have to do any lightening work to get to the 24.5 lbs all up weight. Also is the cowl stock? Seems like there is a little bit of a color mismatch maybe it is just the lighting.
Built as is, Nothing done to trim off any fat., Cowl was as it came from Tower Hobbies. May be off a little in color.
@@knockoffs All the cowl needs is a spray of semi-gloss and it would match perfectly.
BEAUTIFUL!!!!! What color blue is that and what method did you use to apply the paint?
Arf no paint
@@knockoffs my bad, I got it all wrong lol I was thinking it was the F4U Corsair from Flite Test made from Adams Ready Board. I'm sorry but either way the Corsair is an awesome plane. Enjoy it and thank you for the reply
Hello can i ask what you have coated the inside of the fusealage with
16 oz of thinned out 20 min epoxy with denatured alcohol. makes the entire structure tight and right.
Just noticed that RUclips unsubscribed me from your channel resubscribed. Don't know why or when RUclips done this😡
Huh ? Where's the build ? Is this an ARF ? Looks like and ARF. I see no build here.
A shame cowl doesn’t match fuselage color.
All the cowl needs is a spray of semi-gloss and it would match perfectly.
Nice but this is an assembly not a build. Build mean fabricating every parts
Thank you
